Too hard for beginners.

Fun, Positive Project
Pretty, positive message in an easy cross stitch kit. This small kit is a fun way for one to learn to do cross stitch . It could be framed, or added to a pocket, tote bag, jacket, etc. I am working the design into a small quilt that I am making. However you use it, you will enjoy stitching.

Cute, but not as described
This is NOT 5X7 inches! The packaging may be, but the the actual project is only 2x2! This is not an easy beginners project for young children. It is very tiny and difficult for little hands to work with. The frame is cheap plastic and the backing is a piece of heavy paper. (I guess if you ever get it finished, you would need to glue to paper to the back?) It was a cute design and I thought it would be a good learning project for girls ages 4-16 -- none of the girls liked to work on these. The directions were vague; it was very frustrating.

Great Starter Cross Stitch Kit!
This cross stitch kit is wonderful for a beginning stitcher. I bought it for my 11-year-old granddaughter and she was able to complete the project quickly and easily. Now that she has the basics, on to bigger and better cross stitch projects!
