Need large seam allowance
This machine works great but I suggest using a larger seam allowance with your projects, big enough for the presser foot to cover. If you're trying to get right on the edge of your seam id use larger seam allowance and trim down to the goal point. All in all it has done very well this way. When I tried to do a zig zag stich on the edge of fabric to prevent fraying the bobbin basket popped out of place and the sewing machine locked up but I did not have to take it apart I used a wooden dowel to push it back in place I was lucky, this isn't always the case with sewing machines, sometimes it requires you dismantling the machine to get to the basket. I'll give it a 5 stars because it easy to use and got my project complete, but I wouldn't recommend this machine for someone who has no experience with a sewing machine.

Great little machine, exceeds expectations
We purchased this as an occasional use item that wouldn’t take up a lot of space. We have been using it every day this week making face masks during the pandemic. It has turned out to be a surprisingly reliable and versatile little machine. It is slightly limited in the size of spool it will accept. The thread guides and needle are mildly annoying and low-tech to thread, which we discovered while having tension issues with a new thread. However it was very easy to adjust the tension back to perfection which has not always been the case with more expensive models we have owned. Overall we are very impressed for the size and the price, and we will be much quicker to reach for it in the future due to its portability and ease of use.

The little sewing machine that could.
This little sewing machine has definitely earned it's keep in my hohse. It's a little fiddly and a little underpowered, but it has sewn it's way through 100+ facemasks. I took it apart and cleaned out the lint from it after 50 masks, and it continues to run smooth. The ability to run on batteries is a fun feature. I used it to spend an afternoon outside on my porch sewing bias tape.If you're looking for an entry level machine to get stated sewing, this is a really cost effective way to go. Remember to read the manual and use YouTube to learn how to troubleshoot basic sewing machine problems. Also, remember this is a tiny machine that's small enough to run on 6 AA batteries, so don't expect the power of a full-sized machine.

Absolute Trash
I am a beginner - first time using a sewing machine but it does not take much to see this machine is a piece of trash! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I returned the first machine thinking it must be my luck but the second machine encountered the exact same problem. Something about it when you use the reverse stitch function, the footer plate moves so that it is no longer aligned with the needle. The needle then hits the metal plate.. eventually bending and giving out and breaking. I went through at least 4 needles with first machine (I even bought higher quality organ needles for replacement!) and the second machine, I didn't even start sewing my own material and the needle broke. It broke while I was testing the machine with the test cloth that came with it! That's the thin two layer cloth - I'm not even sewing with anything thick. Spend your money on a higher quality machine and skip the frustration with this one

Five stars great value!!
Five stars great value!! Bolt this is a birthday gift for my daughter‘s best friend. She was over the moon and very excited to start using it. It is very well-made and a decent size for a smaller sewing machine. Seems to be great for beginners as well as intermediate sewers. I am even considering purchasing one for myself

Wanted to love it
This is a nice small sewing machine. When it worked, it was nice. The 1st one sent to me eventually had the timing off on the bobbin and I could not get it corrected so I requested a replacement. The 2nd one sewed perfect on the straight stitch that I needed but the light above the needle wouldn't turn on. This little light was critical for me to see and thread the needle. I wanted to keep it but the light not working was the reason I had to return the 2nd one. If the machine works correctly, it's a nice handy sewing machine for the price.

Great little product
I just needed a simple cheap sewing machine to help me make face coverings. I don’t sew normally so I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a high quality machine. My precious mini machine stopped working because it was too flimsy. I also needed something that could backstitch. This seemed to be between the mini machine and a proper machine. This has been great so far. I have made five masks with it and it seems ok. Great for the occasional sewing project.

Excellent Customer Service
I love this little sewing machine. I have a lot of hemming to do, but can't keep a regular sewing machine out because of space. This little guy works well and is easy to store in the closet. I had a little trouble with the light on my first machine, mentioned it to the company, and they sent me a replacement. I didn't expect that at all. Awesome machine and a great company to work with. Can't lose.
