Beautiful set

I was so disappointed with this purchase. I love the shape of the sugar bowl itself, but the handle of the bowl is of such poor design that it has slipped out of the hand of everyone who has picked it up. It's an accident waiting to happen. I would have expected better from this company. As a matter of fact, I think the design of the whole dinnerware line lends itself to a more creative handle.

I like the size for holding sugar but wish the handle on the top of the lid was sightly larger. It is not easy to hold and the lid could slip away from your fingers easily.

I really like it. I have other new wave items as well and like them all. Shape is nice and it is well made. The only draw back is the "tab" to lift the lid is a bit slippery so be careful to get a good grip on it.

This is my least favorite piece in the New Wave collection. Unlike the other reviewer I don't have a problem with the tab being slippery, but I suppose that depends on various factors like the humidity in the room, etc. but what I don't like is that the lid does not lay flat on the bowl. If you transport this bowl on a tray you will hear the lid wobbling on the bowl.

It matches V&B New Wave line but since it’s plain white it can really go with anything. It’s a great size and holds a lot of sugar. Like other New Wave products this is dishwasher safe and while I handle it with care it’s quite durable. Love it! The seller shipped quickly and packaged it carefully so it arrived in perfect condition.
