Perfect if you buy the right bristle type!
This brush is exactly what I was looking for. Great for a mans brush/short hairstyles that you want to slick down. I see a comment didn't like it but think they bought the wrong bristle type. Denman makes one that also has longer white nylon bristles mixed in with the boar bristles I would think would be great for long hair, but I had that one prior and it was sharp/uncomfortable on the scalp. The boar bristle one is perfect for me. Quality of both is nice!

Bristles aren’t all straight or cut evenly. Terrible quality.

Not good for thick hair
Boar bristles do not get through hair to the scalp. Very lightweight feeling brush.

Used on Thick/Kiny-Curly hair
My daughter and I have the toughest of hair. Its very thick and curly. This brush is the best brush we used so far. It slicks all of the curls and gives our hair an over all neat look.

Nice brush
Bought this brush specifically for brushing out my hair after using hot rollers to get a 1940s-50s wave. It changed my hairstyle completely, allowing me to achieve a smooth look that regular nylon brushes couldn't compare to. Very happy with this brush! The only issue is a little bit of static, but I found that brushing slowly and using my hand following the brush helped prevent fly-aways.

Gentle on hair
In the few weeks that I have owned this brush, I have been very happy with how gentle it is on my hair. I have hair past my shoulders, which is medium-fine. Although this brush can comb through most tangles, it takes a little more brushing than with a brush that has stiffer bristles (hence fewer split ends).

Wrong brush sent
I used to have two of these. Loved them but lost both. Ordered two more what was sent to me appeared used and one of the brushes was clearly not even the right one. Poor quality control on someone’s part.
