Bought this for my husband for Christmas after seeing these in the USA. Wasn’t sure if he was going to like this, I needn’t have worried. He loves this and turned down a Starbucks so he could go home and make himself a cup of tea in this Ember mug!! The temp has been set and and you can see the temp in the cup from the moment you make the drink till it’s empty. I love the fact that it keeps the temp for up to 1 hour (depending on how hot you want to keep this). It knows when there is no liquid in the cup because the app says ‘empty’ and it turns itself off. So good, I’m getting myself one at the end of the month!! The downside to this is that it could be slightly bigger, but a great cup all round.

Works really well. No more rushing to drink coffee in the morning as it keeps it at your perfect temperature.

First time i saw it, was a youtuber review it and thought i will give it a try and biy for my wife as she loves to drink coffee and tea. Let us get straight to the point, it is small inside - that is the biggest and only downside to the mug. For someone who drinks hot drinks a lot through the daythis will be annoying as refills will be often. Otherwise very good mug, app is working fine and is simple to use. Keeps the temperature at chosen setting for as long as it is connected to socket. As a mug without the plate it will work for about an hour. Yes - there is also a bigger size but costs quite a bit more, so not sure if worth it, as i bet after a year or two there might be improoved / bigger mugs accessible for decent price.

At least twice a day, I make a Pot of coffee; holding about 2 full cups of Coffee. After 30 minutes, maybe I've only gotten through half one cup, and my pot (and that cup) is now cold.This mug is a life changer. I sit here for a few hours, and I never have to experience a single cold sip; aside from when I pour cold coffee into my mug, which gets back up to temperature in about 10 minutes.While the price is rather steep, and I've been judged a little for buying a *mug* this expensive: I have zero regrets whatsoever - aside the fact that I've not bought the Travel version of this yet, although maybe that can wait until Winter.If you (or a friend/loved one) are the type to end up drinking any sort of hot beverage: This is for you. The convenience of being able to grab my remaining coffee; take it outside and it still be hot an hour later is a huge bonus, too.As of writing this review, I've maybe filled this 30 times, and it's been great every time. If you use Milk, beware of the layer that forms on the top sometimes!Sometimes I do wish that it could go a little cooler than 50 degrees C, but that's okay.Tip for washing: Rinse out, then tip upside down and wash the inside with sponge. You don't want any water getting too close to the bottom.

Firstly I’d like to say, I love this product, sort of. Which probably doesn’t seem to match up to my review score, but we’ll get to that.As I sit in front of my computer all day and as I drink a lot, and I do mean a lot, of coffee I’m always looking for something which will improve my experience.Working at a computer all day has a nasty side-effect for the obsessive coffee drinkers like myself. Sometimes, when you’re lost in your work, time just fly’s by. Horror of horrors, when this happens, my beloved coffee sometimes goes cold....... I still drink it of course, but it’s not the same as a nice hot beverage.So this mug seemed like the answer to my prayers, and it is, sort of.It does do exactly what I want, it keeps my coffee at my preferred drinking temperature of 64 degrees, for as long as I need it to.When it’s at my desk, it sits on its little coaster and would literally keep the coffee hot for me, even if 12 hours had past.Away from the desk, you can expect 1 to 2 hours of hot beverage, depending on the temperature you set it at.It really does do what it says it will. No more, no less.So, why the 1 star?Well first up, it’s a bit on the small side for me, I like a bit more in my mug.To be fair, they have rectified this by announcing a new, larger mug. But at a £50 excess. Let’s look at that one more time.... Slightly larger mug, no extra features or technology, for £50 more than this one???Is it just me? Could I be alone in thinking that’s a ridiculous increase in cost, for so little in return?Regardless, that’s another matter.My main reason for giving this 1 star is that after only 3 months, the ceramic coating inside the mug is peeling away in large chunks.Ember customer service is great and they are sending me a replacement mug. But, are they going to do that every couple of months for as long as I own it? One thinks not.I’m sure as long as it’s under its warranty period they will continue their great service. But after that, well, we’ll be on our own with ugly peeling mugs.The ceramic coating is, I’m told by Ember support, food safe and non-toxic. Well we won’t get poisoned from the consumption of ceramic particles at least — or at least we hope, my years in engineering and semiconductor manufacturing tells me it takes an average of 20 years to fully discover the effects of exposure.But at the end of the day, even if it’s as safe as, well, a very safe thing. I expect a product in this price range to be more durable.I don’t want to have to replace it every 2 or 3 months because it’s peeling. I don’t want to be left with an ugly as sin, scabby looking mug once my warranty period is over and I’m certainly not going to recommend it.I just can’t. Not in good conscience could I recommend this to anyone. Not at this price and with such poor durability. Frankly it’s a disgrace.If you want a hot beverage and don’t mind a scabby product, then by all means, purchase this.If you’ve any sense though, you’ll avoid this like the plague and instead buy a USB mug warmer at a tenth of the price.Update 1:My replacement Mug from Ember arrived quickly, again I really cannot fault their excellent customer service.Unfortunately, in just under two weeks the same thing has happened to my replacement Mug. Despite me being even more careful with it and using the softest cloth I could find to wash it.I informed Ember, mainly so they could track down any possible manufacturing issues with certain batches.Despite my telling them I didn’t want another replacement - I don’t really see the point. They insisted that they send another one.They have said they are improving the manufacturing process to make the ceramic coating more robust and ask that I keep them informed of any issues. So we’ll see how the next one fares.Edit 2:So, my next update is unfortunately not good news - again.The replacement Mug sent to me by Ember has lasted less than a week before succumbing to the same issue as the others.I hope this is not one of their “improved” manufacturing process Mugs, because it’s no more robust than the others.I will add that I have only used this as one would expect to, I drink a lot of coffee and in that I have 3 sugars. I use a normal teaspoon to stir and I only wash the Mug under a running tap with my fingers.So there’s no out of the ordinary reason the damage should be so consistent.I have suggested to Ember that perhaps including a couple of sturdy silicone spoons, to be used with the Mug, would solve these problems. But I don’t think we should have to resort to such measures.Again I really can’t fault their support staff and indeed the company for trying to keep their customers happy.I once again insisted that they not send me a replacement Mug, I don’t see the point in continuing the cycle. So far I have three of them, all with damage, I don’t want to add to that collection. I contacted them, once again with the primary purpose of their tracking problematic batches.They have however insisted on offering me a store credit for the full value of the Mug. It’s certainly very kind of them, though I have no desire to buy any more of their products. Discounted, or free.If the reviews were based on customer service, five stars would not be enough. They really are brilliant.Unfortunately that’s not the point. The severe lack of durability of this product, in my experience at least. Is what the review is about. Stunning customer service or not, I still cannot recommend this product based solely on its durability.Should they ever manage to rectify this problem, or release a Mug without the ceramic coating, as I have suggested many times - I’d be happy with one which is anodised on the outside. Then my opinion would change.

Formidabile questa tazza, mantiene a temperatura costante il liquido e valuta in tempo reale la temperatura grazie alla app molto intuitiva, comunica anche con la app Salute di Apple valutando quantità di caffeina e frequenza delle bevande. La app ha un timer per la preparazione del the. La tazza senza piattino rimane in stand by senza consumare energia , si riaccende appena si usa e si ricarica in brevissimo tempo. Altissima qualità .

Ich war zuerst skeptisch, ob man sich eine Tasse für fast 100 Euro kaufen sollte, aber ich wurde eines besseren belehrt.Die Einrichtung per App verlief problemlos und sehr schnell. Die Anleitung und App ist auch auf Deutsch verfügbar.Die App kann auch meinen Koffeinkonsum in der Apple Health App hinterlegen, was ich durchaus nützlich finde.Ich lies den ersten Kaffee in die Tasse laufen und sofort wurde mir in der App die Temperatur angezeigt. Meine hinterlegte Temperatur von 57 Grad wurde nach ca. 10 Minuten erreicht, zuerst hatte der Kaffee eine Temperatur von ca. 75 Grad.Ich habe für den Kaffee ca. 30 Minuten benötigt, in dieser Zeit wurde die Temperatur konstant gehalten!Mein Fazit:Ein wenig überteuert, aber ich würde sie nicht mehr hergeben.

Je m’etais déjà rendu compte que mon café pouvait refroidir assez rapidement après quelques minutes de repos dans sa tasse. Je suis tombé par hasard sur ce nouvel objet « connecté » qui est vraiment loin d’etre un gadget inutile, que du contraire. Tout d’abord, l’écrin dans lequel cette mug est arrivée, digne d’un produit de la pomme. Quant à la mug elle même (j’ai choisis la couleur noire en céramique solide), il ne serait pas possible de remarquer qu’elle est différente d’une mug traditionnelle à part la petite diode lumineuse horizontale qui permet d’indiquer différentes choses. Il y a un socle (on dirait la sous tasse avec un câble) qui permet de recharger la mug en la déposant dessus. Cette mug se connecte à votre téléphone/tablette grâce à l’application gratuite a télécharger. L’appairage en Bluetooth se fait en 10 secondes en appuyant quelques secondes sur un bouton intégré dans le dessous de la mug. Puis dans l’application, vous n’avez qu’a créer votre compte en 20 secondes, déterminer à quelle température vous désirez boire votre café/thé et c’est parti. Vous n’avez qu’à verser votre café (souvent trop chaud pour le boire immédiatement), attendre que votre café refroidisse naturellement et que votre mug vous prévienne sur l’application du téléphone/tablette/montre connectée/diode sur la mug que votre température idéale a été atteinte. Puis miracle, la mug (et c’est là toute l’utilité) conserve cette température en gardant votre boisson chaude. Cela fonctionne très bien, maintenant même lorsque ma tasse de café est à moitié vide, mon café reste chaud, à la température idéale. La mug garde la température pendant une heure puis il faudra la recharger sur son socle (il y a le pourcentage de charge indiqué dans l’application). Il faut aussi savoir que la mug détecte seule s’il y a du liquide dans la tasse. Si il n’y a pas de liquide, elle se met en veille toute seule. La mug ne se lave pas au lave vaisselle mais à la main sous le robinet. Je viens de m’acheter une deuxième mug en blanc pour la prendre au travail, le prix n’est pas si élevé sur Amazon. Vous aurez compris que je recommande vivement cette mug...

Das Produkt kam wie gewohnt schnell,und die Verpackung ist alleine sehr hochwertig.Der Preis ist natürlich sehr hoch für eine Tasse,aber das ist er dennoch wert!Wie oft kauft man neue Sachen die man eigentlich schon hat?Hier ist es nicht der Fall das man sich eine Tasse kauft die man eigentlich schon hat sondern eine neue Funktion kauft die einfach nur mehr als praktisch ist.Man hat sich viel zu sehr daran gewöhnt dass man seine Heißgetränke so schnell trinkt das sie einigermaßen warm sind.Aber man merkt erst mit der Tasse wie schön es ist sich einfach mal zeit zu lassen bei einem Getränk,ihn ganz in ruhe trinken zu können und einfach immer ein Getränk in der perfekten Temperatur zu haben!Der Preis ist auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt würde es jeder zeit wieder kaufen.Und konnte auch schon sehr viele skeptische Freunde und Verwandte Überzeugen das es sich Lohnt!
