Outstanding!
I can't recommend this E collar enough. We have a now 1 year chocolate lab (named Mocha) and right around the 8-10 month mark she became very testy with us. It was like having a teenager in dog form lol. Anyways I used the E Collar orginally for off leash training with Mocha and it worked extremely well. As long as you know how to use it properly the dog will catch on very fast. To train Mocha on it I followed these steps... 1. I made sure Mocha had a solid foundation of training commands in the house such as sit, down, come, stay and so on. Inside is easy compared to outside with the many distractions and smells outside. 2. I then took her outside using a 100ft drag line and basically repeated these commands. Every time she listened such as coming to me I would give her a treat. If she didn't respond on the fist time, I would vibrate her and give her the command again. At this point, if she didn't listen after 2 attempts at the command she would get shocked with the command again. Believe me I can tell you how many times (handful of times) I have shocked her because dogs quickly understand they need to listen to our commands and they don't want to be shocked. The shock function goes up to 100 and I originally started it with level 12 but we leave it at level 29 which is the "sweet spot" for Mocha. Mocha is approximately 60+ lbs and is extremely active so she needs a little bit more "umph" to affect her and get her attention. 3. Within days, I didn't even need the drag line because Mocha knew she wasn't going to just run off, she quickly paid attention at all times awaiting commands or playing fetch with a toy. 4. I used this exclusively for recall training at first but ended up using it for Mochas teenageness as well lol. Now for her testiness that was the teenager phase as my wife and I called it...in the house when she would for the lack of a better phrase get bratty with us. We would simply pick up the E collar remote and she would quickly listen or stop doing what we were telling her to stop doing. Every now and then a vibrate but its extremely rare she gets shocked because she knows the vibrate is her warning. Anyways Mocha is a completely different dog within just days of having this E collar, she listens, she doesn't test her boundaries anymore (partially because she's grown up too) but now we have complete control over her. Like I said earlier in this review, if you the E collar properly, there is nothing inhumane about it. Its not a punishment tool, its a reinforcement/ attention tool. Also your dog needs to know what your asking of them, so they need to have the solid foundation of commands from the get go. And you need to work that in with using the E collar so your not just telling them to sit and shocking them for not listening, then they wont get it. Kind of hard to explain, but for people who use this and know what I am talking about, know. Seek professional training advice if you need or use Youtube which has plenty of videos teaching how to teach your dog tons of things! I know this E collar is expensive, BUT I have tried 2 of the cheaper ones and they never really worked. As soon as I got this one, it worked right away and the battery life is phenomenal! I end up throwing on the charger every few days but I have found it charges so fast that I dont even need to throw it on that much. Mocha wears this collar pretty much all day when my wife and or I are home. If your serious about your dog training, this is worth every single penny! The collar band is decent, but kind of a pain, I have never been a fan of the belt style collars for dogs, I like metal snap buckles or cobra buckles. So I upgraded the collar to a k9tactical E collar which was only $25 and it has a cobra buckle simple easy on and off. I love this E collar even more because of it! Turning the collar on and off is actually pretty neat, it uses a magnetic part on the remote which is a little red cirlce then you touch the remotes little red dot to a little red dot on the collars receiver thus turning the receiver on. The remote turns on and off buy a button easy peasy. The other buttons are extremely intuitive, one side is one button which is the vibrate and the other side is 2 buttons which you know are the shock buttons when using the remote meaning you don't need to look at the remote when you use it. Update as of 8/3/2020: Collar and remote are still going strong. The antenna has a couple chips of plastic missing but we also abuse this remote/ collar. It goes on hikes, swimming in lakes, rolling in the grass in the snow in all weather conditions whatever mocha throws at it lol still couldn’t recommend it enough! The only thing I wish it had was some sort of battery level indicator for the remote and collar but otherwise it’s still running great!

Absolutely Awesome for training a rescue puppy. 👍
I rescued a 6-month-old Shepherd husky mix on October 5th of 2023 that is too smart for his own good. I have p5 acres fenced in and he would climb the fence not jump it, climb like a monkey. He's well-trained in the home but when he gets outside there were too many squirrels. When he would get out he would run to neighbor's properties and harass their chickens. He had been shot at once that I know of by one of the unsavory neighbors in the area. He was not hit but he did come running back. He had gotten out a total of five times in 6 months that I know of. But since I received the mini educator my problems have dissolved. I've been training him as he gets near the fence I tap him and he runs away from the fence. I've had to use the minimum shock four or five times when I first received it as he would go near the fence to try to climb it. That was the first weekend. I have had it now for a week and for the last 6 days he does not even want to go near the fence. I would hate to have to use the boost shock on him because I tried it on myself and that is rough but if he does get over the fence again I will use it. He is also a very smart dog you can call him and you can see him thinking about it but this only happens when he's off leash and outside. Now when I call him and he looks at me and I see he's starting to think I tap him he comes right over and sits right next to me. One other thing is that he will get a blinding zoomy meaning he will start running and he's not focused on anything but just the running and with other dogs you can call them and they would stop. with my guy if you could grab him you could just see his head moving in his eyes would be just wanting to roam everywhere and it would take 5 seconds for him to actually focus and come back to who he is. When he got the zoomies the last time I tapped him and he came right over and sat next to me. I hope this helps some of you with a semi problem dog but this product works. He weighs about 80 lb and now he's about 1 year and 2 months old. I had almost thought about taking him to a rescue shelter after he climbed the fence the last time. This product was his last chance to stay with me because I just can't handle a dog that will climb fences and want to get out especially when they have five acres wooded and grass to live in. So far this product has worked miracles for him and me. As far as the settings go I set the regular shock at 36 which then would be the boost to 96. I tested it on myself first the 36 is a good boost and it brings him back immediately. The tap I do believe is a general sensation and that is maybe 1/5 the sensation of the regular shock. I also tested that out on myself first. When I first received it I had to call the company to help with 3 questions .it is an American company I talked to a representative who said she lived in Indiana within 2 minutes I had the collar and the remote setup no problems. I only had a few questions because the directions are a little confusing and she even said there are some things that are vague. one of the things that are vague or how to turn it on. there is a red dot on the side of the remote controller and a red dot on top of the collar sensor you touch them together and it turns on. It works like a charm. Then the charging; he wears a collar between 6 to 8 hours a day and I charge it every other day depending on how many times I have to tap him. The instructions say do not let the batteries get below 50% and to charge it up so the batteries will last a very long time if you do that. That is what the instructions in the manual say to do. Sometimes I charge it up at the end of the day if I tap him a couple of times it takes 15 to 20 minutes to charge it up and I'm good to go. I am very happy with this product. There is also an LED light on the collar so when he's in the woods I hit the light sensor button on the back of the remote and it comes on it's like a headlight but it's on his neck. It can go from a blinking LED every two to three seconds to a solid LED light I've used that a couple of times just to see if it worked he was about 500 ft from me came on immediately. I hope I never have to test the half mile range of this but so far the longest distance I've had to tap, shock or turn the light on is about 800 ft and it is instantaneous. I watched multiple videos on 10 different e-collars then research them and I settled on the mini educator it seemed to be more durable, used by more trainers and the most important part made in the USA with customer service based in the United States. From what I saw from the other e-collars they were not. AS an ending note now my rescue puppy repeatedly comes back and looks for me at least every 10 minutes and it is only been one week. I have had dogs before but I always got them between 12 and 8 weeks old they were easily trained and they were all trained up by me by the time they were 3- 4 months old. This is my first rescue puppy which I rescued him from a truck stop in Amarillo Texas he was emaciated, his pads on his paws were torn up and he had a bad case of diarrhea. At the time I rescued him he was approximately 5 to 6 months old per the vet. He had no collar no tags and no chip. I called the rescues in the area and the shelter no one had claimed him as missing and they told me when I asked them if it was okay if I could keep him. they said please do we are being overrun with dogs being turned in or loose dogs roaming around.. He is an extremely happy, smart and now thanks to the mini educator well-trained off leash and like I said it has only been one week 👍😁

Love that it fit right in my hand so easy to use. This mini educator is saving my dog from aggression. Tapping for attention and zapp for aggression stop her write away from escalating. Last night we had the best session yet at training. I had to use the negative only 2 time. The rest she was so calm. The trainers were amazed. Life is good again.

I’ve been using the Educator ET-402TS 2 Dog E-Collar Remote Dog Trainer for a while now, and I couldn’t be more impressed! It’s a fantastic tool for training multiple dogs, and it works especially well for stubborn or easily distracted pups. Multiple stimulation levels mean you can tailor the training to your dog's individual temperament. It’s nice to have such flexibility! The remote is user-friendly and comfortable to hold, with a clear display that shows the settings at a glance. I love that it’s rechargeable and has a decent battery life, so I don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. Plus, the e-collars themselves are durable and waterproof, so they can withstand all sorts of weather. One of the biggest selling points for me is the ability to train two dogs simultaneously, which is perfect for our multi-dog household. The remote allows you to adjust each collar individually, which is super convenient. Overall, this trainer has been a game-changer for improving my dogs’ behavior, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and versatile e-collar training system.

This is absolutely incredible and an absolute life saver. I bought this as a final chance to help our extremely reactive whippet. Days out with him have been a disaster and always ended in an argument, we left him at home and he developed separation anxiety. Therefore we couldn’t take him out or leave him at home. Then after watching Jeff Gellmans videos on you tube I knew I had nothing to lose. He walked to heal in a few minutes and after three days we could walk past dogs without any reaction. The worst we get now is a tiny moan but just using this shows him to calm down and watch me. It is a miracle. My family can not believe the difference. I would give this 100 stars if I could. We love it and now have a super calm, well behaved whippet who respects me. He walks past dogs now and we all enjoy great days out. Get it if you want to stop unwanted behaviour. We only use level 9 as the highest out of 100. It is so humane and the best tool ever to communicate to your dog. Used correctly, this is incredible, especially for reactive dogs. I had tried everything .....this is worth every penny.
