Fantastic toy and very realistic
Ive written a review for the Playmobil pump which I was mega impressed with. I’m a fireman and I was really impressed that it was better stowed than some actual fire engines. This is no exaggeration. It’s a fantastic toy and my nephew loves it! The flashing lights and sirens are a great touch too. I’ll definitely be buying him more because it’s really top quality stuff

Impressively large, some assembly required, batteries not included
Our 3 year old loves this - as well as the rest of his playmobil items (he may be a bit spoilt!). But obviously he only uses this under supervision as there are a lot of small pieces. As with other playmobil sets - there is quite a bit of ‘assembling’ before play can commence. We didn’t realise this with his first playmobil set (fire station), and it took a good few hours of assembly before he could use it - this was obviously very frustrating for him, but it did teach him a valuable lesson about patience, and it taught me a valuable lesson about doing a bit of extra research before telling a 3 year old that he can open the box and play with it straight away!Obviously we didn’t make this mistake with this set and had it ready made and ready to go for Christmas morning - although for some - the fun might be in building the toy as well as playing with it, a la Lego, although not as complex a build obviously. There are some great play features, including features that can be upgraded such as adding a remote control feature by adding playmobil part 4856.Our son loves the extending ladder, and has had hours of fun putting out imaginary fires with this large fire engine, as well as with the rest of his fire playmobil sets.Overall, a really impressive set that will provide hours of fun, however adult supervision will be required until he’s a little older due to the small pieces that are provided with it - but I don’t mind that as I get to relive my childhood and play along with him.The only thing that can get a bit tedious is the sound of the siren on repeat for 2 hours solid, and a small child trying to repeat it! Although it can be alternated between two variations, so double the fun (at annoyance!).Batteries not included for the siren and the flashing lights, 2 x AAA are required but see above for why you may not want batteries!! :)

great toy but very poor instructions.
Bought for my grandson for Christmas and he loved it. The model is robust enough but has a lot of small parts that might get lost.It did however take about an hour to assemble due to very poor picture instructions which were far too small missed detailed requirements and lacked detail of the items to make this easy. The instructions give a coded number for each p[art but there is no list of what these are or how many there should be. These need a complete rethink.

Great play value
A big detailed toy with great play value. Like all Playmobil it’s not cheap but well worth the money.

4 year old asked for a fire engine for his birthday. PLaymobil delivered 😉
Bought for my 4 year olds birthday. He is fire engine obsessed as his Grandad is a fireman! It definitely meets his expectations. I found it a bit fiddly to put together and there are tiny pieces that are just loose and don't have a place to go, so we have to make sure we put them somewhere safe. Its a good size & well made.

Good toy
Once parts are put together, it’s good to go. Great fun for my grandson’s birthday.
