Great Bible software.
Many different ways to optimize this software. Also the visual add-ons are great. I would say the only thing holding it back would be a want for more media. On the other hand a great bible study tool for home study and/or teaching use.

A fantastic way to present Bible to your kids
If you have children or grandchildren whom you would like to introduce to the Bible, I think this is the best product out there - much better than a book collection of Bible stories. The interactive 3D panorama of Jerusalem and the Temple is fantastic, and the many animations of Bible stories will draw them in whether they are reading or not (the kids will discover these animations as they read Bible passages, or if they are not reading, they can simply navigate through the animations directly without discovering them alongside the Bible text). Highly recommended, and not just for kids! Works fine - animations hiccup very occasionally (pauses a few seconds and then resumes) - on my ancient 5 year old 2 GHZ Pentium 4 laptop with 750MHz RAM and a paltry 32MB graphics chip.

Over-rated
The "Flagship" for this program was certainly the 3D Animations. People who spent up to $100 (price has recently dropped) on this will be disappointed by the limited amount of animations. The animations are somewhat bland but still enjoyable. As to the encyclpedic content, its there, but not terribly special or immersive. Not much in the way of options for encyclopedias and dictionaries or commentaries. Most infuriating of all was the "Church History" Timeline. It should have been called the "Lack of Church History" timeline. I can understand protestant Christians wanting to stick to protestant theology, but the timeline essentially pretends that the majority of the 1,500 years of Church history prior to the reformation didnt exist! Nor did the Catholic church exist, or at least you'd think so with this timeline. For bible study, I'd go with E-Sword, FDB, or Logos. Glo looks pretty good too, but I havent tried it.

Bible
The Ilumia Gold Premium is an excellent bible library. It has features that you will not find in other Bible Library. It has a great Media section. The Bible does not pronounce individual word for you.

Highly recomend Ilumina!!!!
Love this program, it is so helpful in better understanding and applying Godly principles to my life. Would love see this program upgraded and improved, it has so much to offer to those who hunger for what God has to say to us in todays world.

amazing!!
I love this product. It has taken me a while to finally testify to how much I loved this program. I used to teach sunday school when my kids were younger, and this has lesson plans already lined up and worksheets to go with. Not only could we cover the material but then we got to be immersed in virtual tours of locations we were learning about and short clips that depicted the stories in the bible. the bible came to life. I would pay for it all over again!

Great resource. Very easy to use and has lots of resources, especially the study centre. I highly recommend this if you have never used any bible software before. This is a good bang for your buck. I will spend this time telling you about the quirks as nobody has mentioned them. - Videos are nice but there are barely any on the old testament - timeline is extremely limited - Pages are displayed in frames and cannot be scrolled by the mouse. That is annoying! The cursor arrows are really slow. - When viewing both bible editions side by side, some verses are cut off. You have to switch to single bible edition to see the full scripture. - When viewing another resource like a commentary, if you navigate to any other component, it takes you back to the start again (e.g., While reading Matthew 5, you click on the commentary button. It does not take you to Matthew 5 but Matthew 1. When you click to go between commentary and bible, it always brings you back to Matthew 1. That is really annoying
