Flavorful Hearty Oatmeal
As a prediabetic I was searching for steel cut oatmeal that did not take a long time to cook and came as close to packing the most nutrients without any added ingredients that could spike my blood sugar. From Amazon I recently discoverd Be Still Farms Organic Steel Cut oats. I liked their philosophy, they grow their own oats, it's healthy, fresh and organic. The packaging is recyclable plain brown paper, the steel cut oats smell like fresh oats that were just harvested and milled. I was able to cook a bowl of oatmeal in 10 minutes after the water boiled, and the creamy and chewy consistency of the oats was so satisfying to eat. I top it with cinnamon, flax seed, walnuts, berries and add some milk. This oatmeal fills me up for many hours before the next meal which is usually dinner. Before, out of convenience, I had been buying Trader Joe's frozen oatmeal, but it has added sugar and does not keep me sated as long, plus there is no chewiness the part that I love with Be Still Farms steel cut oats. I'm now a convert and no longer mind the extra 10+ minutes to prepare oatmeal. Yum!!I just want to add an update that this is my 3rd order, and each morning I look forward to having my bowl of oatmeal which starts with Be Still Farms fresh, satisfyingly chewy and nutritious steel cut oats.

Wonderful Steel Cut Oats
Great Steel Cut Oats. One of my favorite breakfasts on cold mornings.I recommend adding a sliced banana , blueberries, chopped pecans to makes breakfast even more of a treat.

Good but Pricey.
I would give 5 stars, but for the price. I eat this every morning, both because I enjoy it and for health benefits. Because of the Glyphosate (probably spelled wrong) in the regular oats and wheat products grown here in the U. S. I feel there is no choice but to pay it. Just wish they could bring the price down. I love it though!
