Best stain removal available.
One of the best stain removal solutions on the markets. My wife swears by it. We can only find the small bottles locally. The bigger bottle is a better buy. I purchased two bottles so we won’t run out too soon.

Gets marker, ink and paint OUT!!!
I have used Amodex for years now to remove stains from my four childrens' clothes. Permanent or "supposedly washable" marker, ink pen, dry erase markers, and even craft paint, which I thought would NEVER come out. But this stuff really works. You really must follow the instructions to get good results - here are my best tips for success:* Apply to dry fabric, NOT WET!* Put paper towel between the layers (I like to fold up a paper towel so it's nice and thick), or between a hard surface and the stained item* SCRUB LIKE CRAZY* Keep adding Amodex and scrubbing, pushing the Amodex through the fabric to let the the stain seep into the paper towel, until the main part of the stain is fully diffused.* For stubborn stains, let it sit for a while or overnight, then keep at it.* Seriously, keep going until you aren't getting any color transfer into the paper towel (keep moving to a clean part of paper towel so you can tell). You will usually still see some of the color in the fabric and it will spread out as you scrub (seems worse at first!), but as long as the immediate area of the mark is not transferring ink into the paper towel any longer, you're good to go ahead with laundering.* It may take a LOT of scrubbing and re-applying, but this stuff really does get the stain out.* For paint stains, start with Amodex on top of the stain to begin to break up the paint. Then reverse the fabric, putting the paper towel against the right side of the fabric, and start scrubbing from the back side. This will push the paint bits onto the paper towel - dried paint bits won't seep through the fabric to the paper towel if you're scrubbing from the front side. Scratch at the paint (front side of fabric) with your fingernail to loosen the paint bits. This usually works well for me and I have been able to remove lots of types of paint stains that I never thought would come out.

Wast of money!
After reading the reviews on this product, I had high hopes! My son had a pen explode in the arm pocket of his Army Reserve's fatigue jacket. As these jackets aren't cheap ($60), I was desperate to find something to get the ink out. I reviewed several products on Amazon and chose this one because of its high ratings and the positive reviews it had. - Well, the ink on my son's fatigue jacket must be a one-of-a-kind ink that no one else on the face of the planet has because this product did absolutely nothing to get it out. I used half the bottle on one small area and it didn't even fade the spot - not even a little - the paper towel I used on the other side of the material (per the instructions) was as white as the day it was produced! - I couldn't be more disappointed! I'm so tired of spending money on products that claim to work and don't. There should be a money-back guarantee on them!

THE LAST STEP OF “LAUNDER AS USUAL” IS CRUCIAL
UPDATE: I kept at it with the stains and discovered that the final step of laundering “as usual” is when the stain goes. I tried this on both pants and a couch. The pants are clean! It was when the washing with ordinary soap and water (in this case by hand) that the stain disappeared. The couch stain still isn’t gone all the way, but it is much better. So I will repeat the process and focus most on the washing at the end part. (The directions clearly state not to wet the item you are cleaning with water before beginning so I am going to let the couch dry thoroughly before I try it again). But I am quite impressed by the job it did on the pants and can now recommend this product!Original review: This product took a while to arrive and I waited impatiently as a pair of pants had gotten ballpoint on them. Followed the directions exactly. Sadly, this product did not reduce the stain much at all. Plain rubbing alcohol worked better. (The product has a pleasant fragrance but to my mind that’s not worth the greatly higher price as compared with rubbing alcohol). It removed a slight amount of a sharpie stain on a fabric couch, but not much. Stain still very very visible. Again, rubbing alcohol worked better on both these ink stains, though it slightly faded the area treated for the pants, which this product did not. But this product didn’t work for me at least.
