Ideal for my needs and good value

I've bought several of these in 8Gb guise, as that is the max' capacity my CCTV system accepts whenever I have needed to extract any footage from it for long term archivage (or to give to the Police, who actually use the exact same USB sticks themselves). They work flawlessly and are a reasonable price.

I ordered this product recently as I was in need of a USB as i have filled my 8GB. I already have a Transcend USB which i was very pleased with and so i decided to buy this one as it a great price and large memory. I was told it would be dispatched on the 15th and I would recieve it on the 21st, but instead it was dispatched a day early and arived 17th, I was very pleased. The packaging was also great the USB obviously comes in its own cardboard packaging and this was then wrapped in a strong light weight cardboard envelope. The reason I did not give the full 5* is because it says the USB is 64GB but when I checked the storage it was only between 58-59GB which was a little disapointing. The USB is nice looking and durable with a hole to allow you to add some chord to it and attach it to a key ring if you wish. The USB has an overall light weight and all you have to do is plug it in and use. Overall the product is great and despite it not being the full size claimed I would definitly recomend it and other Transcend products.

I got the 8GB capacity drive. Useable capacity is 7.26GB. Read speed is a steady 27MB/sec which is faster than advertised. It seems to have a 250MB write buffer because the write speed drops to zero every 250MB but it recovers quickly and it averages 8MB/sec over a long transfer, which is bit slow but nothing I'm overly concerned with. For the price it seems good value and it does everything I want so I have no complaints.

Buone chiavette usb, non velocissime, ma lo sapevo essendo 2.0, ma servivano su notebook datato che aveva problemi a riconoscere le 3.0

Precisely as described

No complaints, its exactly what it says, however I might recommend a 3.0 USB as it downloads things onto it much faster than the 2.0 version.

Worked like a charm for my Splinter Cell save game. I had tried ALOT of other usb sticks, only this one worked.
