3 year review, ive had three different family members buy this speaker after me. I listen to music on it every day over the years or at the least every other day. I charge this speaker once a month, if that, sometimes once every other month if it gets good sunlight! I have left it out in rain multiple days, dropped it in river while fishing, took it to the beach and sand is ultimate test but this speaker keeps going haha I love it, one of my best investments. If you turn it to 3/4 volume the battery will last forever, if you have it at full volume expect it to last awhile but you'll get the low battery warning which can be annoying until you leave it out to charge out in the sun. Has a light and charging port for charging phones while out on the go. My only complaint is that you have to press and hold the on button a little hard to get speaker to turn off or on but thats not even a big deal once you get used to it, the other buttons work flawless. I will not buy any other Bluetooth speaker, this speaker out performs most JBL speakers in sound and bass and for the price I'll buy another one of these speaker and hookup to both speakers with Bluetooth and out perform the $300 dollar Bluetooth speakers for a quarter of the price while its solar charging outside haha. This speaker is awesome and I am very happy after trying a couple of other brands for bluetooth speakers.Weight: It is very light. I bought another waterproof speaker before this one and it weighs twice as much.Waterproof: I did not dunk the speaker under water but I did use it in the shower and it had no problems being splashed. It seems to be waterproof as described.Style: I really like the style, it's very modern and fun to hold and look at. The rubber webbing that makes the case around it looks cool and it also is screwed in very securely with little screws rather than just being halfway molded to the side.Sound Quality: I'm pretty picky about my sound quality. I don't buy super high end audio equipment, but I can't stand cheap sound either. It has to be rich and full sounding and this one really is. And it actually gets loud enough. I use it in the car (because my bluetooth connection in the car is spotty) and I can hear it well with the windows down and the wind coming in. The other speaker I got I had to roll the windows up to hear the speaker even at full volume.Solar: Almost as an added bonus is the solar panel on top. I did not get the speaker only for this reason but I'm finding that I really love having it. I let the battery run down and instead of charging with the cable, I just used the sunlight, and after about 20 minutes in the sun, I was able to keep using the speaker for another whole day!I highly recommend this, it's great.

NOT WATER RESISTANT!!!it's partially built waster resistant, the battery and speakers are in a sealed section but the delicate electronics are not!! See pictures. You can clearly see a white gasket to seal the speaker side but no protection on the electronics side, not even any conformal coating on the PC board. You can see corrosion on the PC board from where a little moisture got into the speaker. I really wanted this to be a win. For the most part this is a good speaker, the rest is well built, solar actually works well, audio sounds "ok", but I needed this to take a splash or at least a misty rain 🌧️ but I doubt this speaker could withstand a humid day. 😔

Plays well, but its bluetooth reception can be easily interfered with. So keep your phone or iPod very close to the ABFOCE speaker. Its bluetooth range is about 10 feet or so. Occasionally, a brief interruption in the music occurs, perhaps due to an errant radio frequency transmission in the neighborhood; it’s not a problem I have experienced with other bluetooth speakers.

I have used this as speaker for three days straight at least 8-10 hrs a day. It only dropped to 50% power. Charges under solar very well (slowly) can even stick it under LED Bulbs (within 8inches) and it indicates it is charging. Sounds very clear and handy for all day use. It could use a little more bass. Built pretty solid and will charge even when cloudy. I used it for 3 days outside to try the solar charging while using and on 3rd night plugged it to power source and it still had 75% power indicated. Flashlight use handy and as using it as power charge for cell. Recommend for outdoor use camping, hiking ..etc

I liked this little thing well enough. Just shy of 2.5 years in it has crapped out, which is I guess "fine" for today's products/expectations, but I am trying to avoid buying "pre-trash" as much as possible these days and have definitely seen portable speakers that take a beating and last for many years, so I can't say I endorse it.Otherwise, the solar function seemed pretty good. If you leave it in a sunny place and only use it occasionally for short periods then you could theoretically never plug it in. But if/when it does run out of batteries you basically have to charge it at the wall or else it might take days.User experience - it's hard to distinguish the buttons without close inspection, and for whatever reason the + button skips to the next song with a tap and you have to hold it down to increase the volume, which is confusing and contrary to the design of most other speakers. Pairing was never a problem. It also does this super annoying thing where if you're playing off of it and then leave with your phone (i.e. drop the connection without formally disconnecting or turning it off) it will beep annoyingly until someone comes to turn it off. Like, why?
