Tethys Protective Slim Waterproof Case with a Built-in Screen Protector for iPhone 6 Plus

So I wanted to wait a few weeks to rate this til I could get it wet and banged up a bit first. I gave it 4 stars because when I first opened the box there was a clump of dirt on the home button section. I contacted customer support and she told me to use rubbing Alcohol to clean it. Unfortunately this also took some of the sticky off too and now it looks funky and I have to try a few times to have Touch ID work.This is a durable case. I really enjoy it. I had another waterproof case before that didn't have a screen and it kept breaking in the port but this one is designed really well with a silicon plug for earbud port and charging port. The volume on off knob took some getting used to but I've come around to it and I think I actually like it better. The case is pretty easy to open and is also pretty easy to snap shut.

I like this case because it really does protect my phone but where the home button is located lies a white circle and inside that circle the plastic starts getting ugly like if it's scratched by a raging cat and it starts making you worry that one day it's going to rip because you used your thumb to press the home button millions of times and you worry because now water could get in through there. I give props to plastic hard cover though. I'm buying from otter box though because I heard their cover is better, sorry ultraproof your plastic screen protector isn't as unltra as you label yourself.

I ordered this case thinking it was the lifeproof brand. I was in too much of a hurry and ordered the first case I saw with the highest reviews. I didn't take the time to read the reviews until after I made my purchase and the case was in transit. They made me a little nervous and I was expecting to send it back. However after putting it on my phone I've grown very fond of it. Even the knob for the mute button. It's a bit odd and does stick out a bit, but it is a more functional improvement to the lifeproof version. Decent waterproof case for a decent price. Can't really complain about that. Shipping is my only criticism. Took 3 days before it was on its way, but it did get here in 2 days after the package started its journey.

So far it's alright, I've had this case on my phone for about 10 minutes. I water tested it, it passed. I have to peck at the keyboard quite hard to have my phone know where my fingers are through the plastic screen cover. The case was difficult to snap together with the phone in it, almost gave up and wanted to return it. The finger print is working occationally, there's a white circle that outlines it for some reason. Looks bad but I'll deal with it. Hopefully this case will hold up to my drops and river adventures on the ski.

I was hesitant to purchase this case given its reasonable cost relative to some other, notably more, expensive products. I was very pleasantly surprised! I just returned from Cancun and have fabulous underwater video from our trip thanks to this case! Yes, volume for phone calls is reduced, but if you leave the microphone unfettered, you'll be able to hear adequately. But this case is designed to be waterproof, and it delivers with a reasonable price. I did not go below the recommended 8 feet, but I suspect it would have performed well to greater depths.

Pros: Mostly as described.Cons: Stick on plastic home button starts to wear off easily after a few uses rendering touch ID a bit useless (with a bit of luck here and there though, I've somehow managed to get it to read right some of the time), can't survive more than a 2' height drop (last case popped out of place a bit), knob may stick after 1 or 2 drops (happened to my last case), and rainbow effect continues to reoccur (as seems to be the issue with most waterproof cases).

I like this case for the following reasons.-fully enclosed- THE FRIENDLIEST RINGER SWITCH I'VE SEEN ON A WATERPROOF CASE-touch id works. Not as good as a uncovered button but it works.But the pictures are not completely accurate.. The bottom charge and headphone jacks are not flush like the picture shows.So far the case seems waterproof but I have only tested in the sink without my phone in it. The paper towels didn't get wet but I never trust these types of cases completely.

This is a great case if your priority is protecting your iPhone. With the case sealed and the rubber port covers closed you could most likely drop a phone out of a second story window or into a sink full of water.Downside is that FaceTime is impossible with case on and voice call quality is affected as well.
