Q: Can these go in the dishwasher?

We have been told that they can go in the dishwasher.

Q: Has anyone used these bottles with wood stain?

No, but I probably wouldn't since most wood stains contain solvents that would most likely compromise (deteriorate) the plastic. Also, wood stain is a much thinner consistency and might leak through the nozzle at the base which is intended for products the consistency of ranch dressing.

Q: Would this work for gochujang, which has a consistency like tomato paste? Would it leak upside down long-term? Would it dispense too much, too fast?

Hello, These would dispense tomato, yes. As for gochujang, I have no experience with that. As for dispensing too much too fast, that is a user preference. For "long term" storage we would alway advise storing the dispensing end up. Also, before you use the bottles, turn each cap on and off 3 - 4 times to make a seal.

Q: Would this work for cheese sauce?

I honestly think they would. I use mine for paint which is probably not as thick as cheese sauce. I used a small funnel to fill them but it comes out easily.
