The joining strips are on the 3m sides. Hope this helps.

Does it require underlay for fitting on decking

I didn’t use underlay, mainly because I didn’t want to compromise the rain draining through. Having said that, I didn’t research if there is drainable underlay.. I also jet wash the decking annually.. So far , no problems. Cheers..

It says no sand infill so what do I put under the artificial grass

some sharp sand, weed membrane and some hardcore

Gone up since I bought it but still a lot cheaper than a shop

Value for money

After reading the reviews I was still a bit dubious but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, this is just a temporary stop over till we do our patio next year so value for for was important and for the £100 I spent it was well worth it, I now have an area that looks nice , is functional and stops the dust....oh and the cat loves it! Like others have said the grass does run a one way and I think that's down to how its stored. I did brush it up a bit but it went back once I started walking on it again. That said I still really like it and would buy more. I also paid the extra £15 for quicker delivery was told it would be 4 days but actually turned up the very next morning which was brilliant!

Good value

Happy with this Astro turf, good value for money. However my order got lost in transit but did turn up eventually. Would recommend.

Not as expected

Supposed to be 30mm but quite flat and a ridge is showing down the middle where it’s been folded during delivery. Already put down so can’t return.Very disappointing

Great quality ans looks realistic

Absolutely so delighted with this product, was ordered for a concrete backyard for my child and its very soft for them to play on. Definitely would 100% recommend.
