For those whose work is not all on computers but still includes efforts with pencil and paper, this is a better choice than big, flat erasers. It allows precise erasures, though not for any writing done with a ballpoint or gel pen, and doesn't leave smudges. It has far more in the way of refills than I'll probably ever use. It came with a sharpener I found useless and really unneccessary; the eraser is small enough not to require sharpening.
