It will work. My door is 32. You can adjust the the foam inside by cutting it. They give you directions on the box. Very straight forward.

Q: This may be a stupid question, but does this block fumes as well?

Not a stupid question at all, I don’t think this thick/heavy enough to do that. It doesn’t seal under the door, it just covers the gap with what is basically flexible foam covered in some sort of soft plastic.

Q: The fabric drags on my hardwood floors and gets caught. I am unable to close my door. What can I do?

Q: Does it stop rodents?

I believe its primary use is to stop drafts, the material is is made of is fabric and and a plastic foam tube. I don't think it would slow rodents down much.
