My 92 year old father has dementia And liked Lining up Jenga pieces.. So I bought these for him and He is more stimulated with moving them around and identifying the colors. Perfect size for him to handle! I highly Recommend them for people who are mentally disabled.

Simplest toys make the best toys. The little recipient of the gift loved the blocks and spent hours building and learning that stacking on top of a triangle is not such a good idea :). But that’s how they learn…at their own pace. The simple primary colors and shapes generate hours of interest.I like the fact that these building blocks use non-toxic materials and paints - designed in Germany.

We purchased a set of these blocks during a sale for a Christmas present for my two year old daughter, but we didn't hide them well enough. One day last month, our backs were both turned and she discovered them. Since then she has had a wonderful time playing with the blocks. The colored blocks are painted and not dyed. That changes the texture of the wood and makes them slicker than dyed blocks are as I understand things. The dyed blocks are also a lot more expensive than these were, and I highly doubt we will buy any of them to get a better sense of that difference.The blocks are a bit smaller than I expected. I don't know if there are standard block sizes, but these are the smaller of the two sizes I seem to see out there for sale. Again, the smaller ones seem to go for a third or less than the price of the full sized ones. For our purposes, the smaller ones are just fine. I have seen lots of abuse thrown at the blocks, and they still look great. I'm glad my daughter has these.

My daughter loved these when she was a baby, and I will be saving these for her babies!

My children love it. It is easily put away and comes with a nice pull string bag. Worth the money and they give you a fair amount for what you pay for.

I was expecting larger due to the pictures on Amazon (I think the perspective on them may have been off); that being said, I ended up being pleasantly surprised and now LOVE their small size, which allows them to be handled PERFECTLY by small hands of toddlers and allows them to build tall structures - and when they tumble, it's much less painful and not so loud ;)
