Last time, I bought a "package" with two of these sluice boxes, some gold pans, scoops, etc. You can see my previous review. In any case, was so impressed with the quality and customer service, not to mention how well they performed, that I bought two more so that we (12 year old daughter) and I can do different configurations (extra long, side by side, or run two to four separate smaller lengths in tight spaces). These are extremely durable, don't let the fact that these are molded plastic deter you. And because they are plastic and modular, they are cheaper than many of the metal sluices out there, lighter and customizable where solid or folded metal ones are not. They are also well designed and work as well as their metal and mat counterparts, using miner's moss in stead of mats. There are third party videos that show how some people have converted these to full mats, but I don't find it necessary.

Ordered just this one item and actually got this item not a (substitution)item in place of what I ordered.

This is my second one, I love the idea of an adjustable sluice. Took it out this week and cought a good amount of gold. Those riffle trays really suck up the gold and black dirt. I will for sure be a repeat customer:)

Just got mine today and had a couple buckets I brought home from last weekend. Set it up in the backyard with the hose and ran the buckets through and it was extremely successful. Personally I’m going to purchase another section but I have no complaints. Great product.
