Martin156G Round Face Pick Body Hammer with Wood Handle, 5-1/2" Overall Length

This hammer is fantastic. It needed a small touch up to smooth out the wood but a scrap of 400 grit sandpaper took care of that. Perfect for low crown panels, areas with thin metal, between panel skins, small work hardened high spots and any panel that’s sensitive to flexing in and out upon being tapped. This hammer allows you to get the highs tapped down with better precision than the general purpose strawberry hammer in sensitive areas. This hammer is a lifesaver for metal finishing, working behind skins, and I’ve had great success with it on GM g bodies which are notorious for panels flexing in and out. Great product from Martin!

Beautiful hammer

Martin hammers are typically good hammers, but I'm definitely a fan of this one. The face is a little smaller, but the pick end is long enough to get into those tight areas behind fenders. It's very sturdy and pretty well balanced. Good product.
