I have never done any repairs to ANY digital equipment in my life so this was a life saver. Our options were to get rid of our 2015 ipad or attempt repair since Apple's cost to repair was ridiculously expensive. Frankly, the original ipad screen is difficult to remove and saving the original fingerprint button is difficult, so I was very happy that this product came with its own button already in place and works great [but does not recognize the fingerprint]. I don't need this feature and hence happy with the purchase since most apps have already gone to face ID, I think this feature is not needed. The screen has good adhesive and I did not need to add more tape or adhesive. Glass is of good quality and touch screen works great. The only difficult part is taking the original ipad screen off. Do see a few youtube videos to see the installation steps since it will help you a lot. Wear eye protection and gloves to avoid any injuries during original glass removal. This product helped me save a lot of money than giving it for repairs to apple or repair shop. We have used it for about a month now and everything working great.

IPad was dropped and screen shattered. Found this and thought we would give it a try. Took some time to remove the old screen but installation was pretty easy after watching some helpful YouTube videos. Installed it over 4 months ago and it still works great. Works just like the original screen. Saved us from having to buy a new one.

The main two pitfalls with this one is that it doesn't include stylus support and that the paperback adhesive protection goes through the digitser connection cable, which requires some manoeuvring in order to remove without also tearing the cable. A shame really. Otherwise, the installation went well, adhesive was precut which made everything straightforward. No ghost touching or quality issues found now. High clarity. Nothing to complain about.It's great that the price of a screen protector can also just straight-up replace the glass itself.

This screen broke and the sticky part is no longer sticky my iPad screen is completely unusable nowMight order another one from a different company and see how that goes

Fit correctly. Cables connected nice and securely. Touch function works properly with no issues at time of testing. Adhesive seems to be good (only time will tell).

Dropped my ipad 5th generation 128gb ($299 from costco) on the power button edge, screen cracked and power button seized up. Initially ordered another touch screen digitizer that cracked right out of the box. This one was awesome. By the way, i consider myself a excellent diy person, but never messed with an iPad or similar electronic. This product was great righ out of the box( regret not making a video), the Phillips screwdriver was the right size and magnetic. The touchscreen had pre-glued on strips. Disposable wipes were ok, but i had to use a microfiber cloth to clean the lcd screen before final installation. The home button doesn't support fingerprint, so i warmed up the bracket holding the preinstalled one on, removed it, and slipped it my old one.Overall I found everything to be just what's needed.I had to remove power button, sand it down a little, scraped off glue from inside edges where old touchscreen was, followed YouTube videos. For $24, I saved $250 what apple was asking for touchscreen ( not to mention the power button problem)

There are a several brands of digitizer glass that Amazon offers, what made this one a better choice for me was that glass came with protective plastic on both sides of the glass as well as adhesive strips precisely placed on the glass for final assembly. In the past many kits included a card stock with all the pre-cut adhesive strips which you had to one by one attach to the ipad frame which is a pain and in the final assembly would sometimes get stuck on your gloves or worse yet, pull off the frame and get stuck to itself. By having the adhesive on the glass already, simply pull off the protection right be for you close the glass on to the frame. This means a much higher success for having the glass adhere to the base and stay in place. The digitizer is also of good quality and sensitivity. Would certainly buy this product again.
