Initial impressions are it's a decent value. I bought this one because the color was vibrant so not easily misplaced and the connection point went through the body versus just a little plastic tab on the end that some of the others had. It was super easy to connect to my android Google pixel. Mine came with a battery already installed and a spare.It is kind of difficult to remove the battery cover but to me that is a good thing. As long as you use a coin to twist the cover it should be fine. Another person gouged the back and gave a bad review, but I didn't have that problem.I haven't tested range but will and will update if any issues present themselves. I'm also going to test to see if I select video mode if it will start and stop recording. I don't see why it wouldn't. If it does, then that's even better than expected.

This clicker does work, but it really struggles. It will sometimes lose bluetooth connection, or it will require that I press the button multiple times to take a single picture.I also have to store the battery separately from the clicker to prevent the battery from draining.I'm happy enough, but if I were to buy again I'd buy something else.

Start off by saying this thing works but for how long is the question. Probably best to buy better quality then throwing this one away after couple of uses. There is no on-off switch but nothing about how to turn on in instructions! Holding down the one button turns on then can pair. The big problem though is that battery cover on back is just barely hanging on after it is locked in place, I opened and closed several times just to find out that its just cheap poorly constructed and ready to fall apart. Did get an extra battery with device so probably worth it if I'm ready to scotch tape the battery flap soon as it breaks.

Worked great if used continuously. Unfortunately, I had it in a photobooth and it kept timing out and turning itself off. Given that the photobooth users didn't understand the nuances of bluetooth and timeouts, I had to constantly turn it back on. Perhaps it needs a "hold button for 15 seconds to turn on or off the timeout" function?

Works wonderful, sturdy an loop won't break like other brand I do have, an this battery door screws on, other brand slides on an I have lost the cover on past fob, Only downfall with this one IS THERE IS NO power ON/OFF like other brand, but I can live with that!AN ALSO while its on your Bluetooth you loose all functions to your text screen, kinda sucks but just turn off Bluetooth an your good, pairing is the easiest one so far one market!! Wish they had a 2pk deal

I purchased this in a color to match my iPad cover.. Will not pair with my device. Does not have off/ on control switch like previous black model, one button design is inferior quality. Previous model works perfectly with both photo and video on my iPad and iPod. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. This is a DUD.

I purchased the shutter remote control back in the beginning of September and I never used it until we were ready to take the family pictures I had planned for our Christmas card in December. Of course I had the rare problem where our iPhones would not recognize the device, which I would have known had I tested it earlier. I contacted the seller even though I was way past the time to return it. The seller jumped through hoops in answering my emails to troubleshoot and eventually found that I must be the rare case with this problem. The seller immediately sent me out a new remote after all avenues of the troubleshooting were exhausted. The new remote worked perfectly and installed just as described. Thank you for the phenomenal customer service and a great product.

I like the simplicity of this product.The remote is simple and quick to set up and pair to your device.It is very simple to operate.Press the button to take a picture & press the button to start & stop a video.It is fast and responsive.Included is a spare 3V lithium(coin/button cell) battery.Also included is a zip lock pouch, which is useful for keeping it all together organised, for storage and transportation.The remote is very lightweight and compact. Included is a lanyard & carabiner for quick access on the go.I would recommend keeping the remote attached to the lanyard as it is quite small and could be easily lost/ and or misplaced. Howether I like its small form factor, making it ideal for travel and carrying around.It is useful if you wish to take selfies or group photos by leaning your phone against an object, such as a wall acting as a makeshift tripod.The remote has a maximum range of 30 feet (10m), which is more than enough.I have been using the remote with my device mounted to a tripod.It is a great setup with the Bluetooth Remote Control by CamKix.It enables me to operate my devices shutter without having to press the button on the device.Overall I enjoy using this product. It is a good product, which is very useful.

I thought this was going to be amazing after ready several good reviews. Turns out, it’s no better than the one I can’t seem to find that cost me £1 from the poundshop! Instead, I paid almost £10 for this!! Bluetooth connectivity is its main problem, in that it sometimes takes forever to connect. I have the device practically on top of my phone and yet sometimes gives an error message saying device too far away!?No on/off switch? So is it using the battery the whole time, even when not in use?The main thing, (which after a bit of googling I have come to the conclusion that this is the culprit), is that it causes a fault where my iPhone keyboard disappears! I have to restart phone to solve. Apparently caused by Bluetooth devices that haven’t been disconnected. Probably wouldn’t be an issue if it just had an off switch! Never had this issue with other Bluetooth devices before.When it’s connected, it does what it should. But due to the issues connecting with Bluetooth, I would definitely not recommend this. Sadly Don’t feel that I can return as I actually damaged slightly when using a spoon to open the back (to access battery). I thought this was how to turn the device on, but it is simply to change battery.

It’s a really good device that when taking pictures with the IPad. I have used it to take pictures of artwork. When the IPad is screwed to a tripod this little device saves time and means that you do not have to use the IPad button to take a photo.

Holds Bluetooth connection very well. Handy and stylish and well presented. Recommended!
