Mingting Sealing Wax, 100 pcs Five-Pointed Star Wax Seal Beads with Glass Bottle,for Wax Stamp, Sealing Vintage Envelopes (Lucky Star Silver)

I ordered this kid for my Xmas cards this year. I decided to test it out and I love it. The wax takes approximately 2minutes to melt, the stamp is easy to hold and is smooth to remove. My hand shifted and I still got a great seal. (See picture, yes that’s my grocery list). Word to the wise, do not clean the spoon immediately after, it gets very hot. I know silly me. Anyway i love the set... the wax in the set are kind of small, so you might need to buy additional wax.

My package was scheduled to arrive in late July/August. I ordered on June 22nd and it arrived July 2nd. Very surprised by that! The product itself exceeded expectations. The seal is very sturdy, heavy wood and metal, very nice. The melting spoon chars easily on the bottom, but not a super big deal. The main issue comes with the wax itself. I'm not entirely sure it IS wax. It doesn't cut or scrape off easily, and as it's melting it smells distinctly like a hot glue stick. I suspect it's made from the same material. That isn't really an issue though, it still melts and pours just fine, and makes a solid image when pressed. The difficulty I had in cutting it made it hard to control how much wax I could get in the spoon on my trials, but it's easy to factor that in now that I know about it. The other problem is I find it hardens very quickly, which can make getting an even press tricky, and makes it hard to clean the spoon off.All in all, I recommend it as a starting kit. The seal itself will outlast the rest of the kit by a large margin, I think, and replacements and refills are easy to come by. If anyone else could confirm or deny that they had a similar experience with the "wax" sticks, I would appreciate it!

This works great. The only problem I encountered with it was one I made myself. I thought that each of the wax sticks would have a wick in it to help melt it. Instead you need to hold the metal spoon over the flame on a candle and hold the wax in the spoon until it melts. Based on how much wax i have used, each stick has enough for maybe 10-12 seals. The image looks nice when its dry, which takes maybe ten seconds. The press comes up neatly and doesn't damage the image on the seal.

I was so excited about the wax seal set, especially after reading such wonderful reviews. I ordered a seal with the letter F and it arrived very promptly... but the seal was incorrect. Even though I had selected “F,” the seal inside displayed the letter “B.” I figured it was a mistake so I returned it and asked for a replacement. I get the second package, and it is also a B, even though it even says “F” on the label (see the enclosed picture). There is a “B” sticker on it, but the label clearly says “Wax Set Tool Gift (F).” Unfortunately, I will have to return this one and go with a different brand. This is really disappointing, as the set seems beautiful.

I only give this 4 out of 5 stars because of the fact there is no wick for to light to be able to do this with ease. Some people mention using the spoon over the candle, but i find using a long lighter you would use for a BBQ to keep it warm until you have the proper amount of wax. Ive done about 40 invites and still have a good deal left.

For the price of this set I was not expecting much. I was very pleasantly surprised! I used the wax to seal a small scroll and then stamp it shut. It worked great! The tea candles aren't fully necessary since a lighter or gas stove would work fine too, but they are a nice addition. The wax melts easily and the stamp worked great. Very satisfied!

Ordered the package on Christmas Eve, it arrived on the 28th. The package was a replica of a book, with a nice silk style ribbon tying it together. Inside was a really quality stamp, 3 sticks of wax, the spoon...everything you need. On top of that was a really nice card with dried flowers on it and a cute quote.I went to Hobby Lobby because I was concerned this wouldn't get here in time. If I were to buy this there it would have been 3X the price. I had to buy a stamp with every letter rather than just one ($25). Then the spoon ($12), then the wax ($5), then the tea lights...it was just not worth it.This kit was a great value, packaged really nicely and arrived quickly. I'd buy again.

I ordered this just for fun thinking it wouldn’t be very good. But I was very wrong this was beautiful and crafted very well! The stamp will last years! Very good surprise! Not only would I recommend I’m in the process of buying more!
