I recently started painting again and this is my second set of this particular paintbrush set. I had to buy another set because a few of the paintbrushes from my first set are. missing and I spilled some resin on the pouch. I really like these paintbrushes. They are of high quality and the pouch they come in is very nice. I would recommend these for anyone interested in painting.

I like the weight and feel of these brushes and they clean and point easily. I have only done three paintings with them, so I can't say how long they'll last, only that they seem to be of high quality. Perfect for a hobbyist painter like me. Case is nice too.

I have been a newbie to oil painting, and these brushes work great for the price. I have many years experience in watercolor, but needed separate brushes for oils. These did not disappoint. They are firm enough for oils, just might not recommend for watercolor. I am pleasantly surprised and very satisfied.

I searched the internet for a good set of brushes for acrylic paint for a new painting and this option had good reviews. I totally agree, it is a nice set and comes in a nice “travel” pouch. The bristles load paint that flows smoothly on the canvas. The range of sizes were ideal for my project (see photo). All in all, it is a nice set and would make a terrific gift for beginners like me. I would love to test other Mount Marte products (acrylics and brushes) to compare results.

These brushes are far better than most of the brushes you find in your local craft store. Plus, it seems like most folks buy terrible quality to start their kids painting. But you can’t paint any better than the quality of your tools & supplies will allow. Whether you’ve been painting awhile, or you want to start your kids, off, give yourselves brushes that will get the job done without messing up everything you try to pant.

The brushes were a returned set and had paint on them, plus one was stiff and had not been cleaned. They would not let me type what I originally wanted, but this is it.

ThiS is a great make in comparison to many others. A bit higher price but the bristles do not fall out on to your work. A huge plus.

I have a ton of brushes and I never have the right brush when I need it. This set is fantastic. The combination of brush types, the quality of the bristles, the smoothness and weight of the handles and the waterproof carrying case are just a perfect design for an artist on the go. Really good product, very good quality. Dont hesitate to add it to your collection.

This is a fantastic brush set for beginners. There were a few faulty ferrules that I may have to glue (which is irritating), but otherwise the brushes are great quality and perform really well on paper and canvas. I wish it had more detail brushes-- I've purchased the brand's detail set as well since I've found that the detail ones in this set aren't exactly precise/small enough for the work I want to do.

Wow. I’m still fairly new to oil painting, so this review is for beginners. I love them. Makes great stroke brush effects and are so soft and great to hold. Look very professional too. I love the price for the set, giving better quality for good budget, when painting is a hobby rather then a living! I might buy them again for my dad, whom I inspired to try painting!

I purchased this particular painting set for doing detail work on painting small items like candlestick holders, mirrors etc. So far they are working well. They clean up easily & the bristles are perfect for this type of detailed work.
