Had a big problem this year with paper wasps making their home in mine (via the window weep holes.)After forcing them out using a spritz bottle of rubbing alcohol and peppermint essential oil, I slapped these little screens on and witnessed several trying to re-enter, to no avail! Kitchen is now quiet once again. I covered all open weep holes all around the dwelling as a preventive measure. Allows for water to escape but keeps insects out! Good price, excellent results! I won't ever be without these again.

Our friends bought the plastic hinge and said it took hours to install them. I found these as an alternative. They have adhesive on one side. A very durable screen to keep critters out but let the area between screen and window dry out. I had to trim them on one side. Had them in for 3 months now and they seem fine. I received 50 and only needed 15 so I figured I can use them for a few years if they start to come loose.

Work fine to keep insects out and allow drainage but the white colored ones turn brown after a very short period

Some of the plastic bee/insect guards had broken in the weep holes of my windows. These self-adhesive mesh guards have worked perfectly to cover the weep holes and keep the insects out.
