There are all kinds of times when a little game can break the ice and get the party started. This game definitely fits the bill. It's creative, fun, doesn't take long to learn, and isn't off-color like some other adult games. You could even use it at work functions. My group played it for a couple of hours and everyone said they had lots of fun. And who knows, you may learn something about your friends you never knew.

I think all the variations of the table topics cards are worth the money. They prompt deeper conversations and break the ice in group settings. I am the facilitator of some group meetings and I've used these cards to get to know the participants and they really enjoyed them.

The questions in this box are pretty average, some of them are not very exciting, but overall they're good for starting a conversation, which is the point!I'm not sure why they call it Do it Yourself Therapy, as the questions aren't very deep, but otherwise it's a good set.

I'm a fan of the Tabletopics series.If you liked the other ones then you are likely to enjoy this one too.One significant caveat ... the topics in this set tend to be **heavy**.Some of the reviewers made this comment about other sets. I found the other sets that I've used to be OK. While there is an occasional tough question and an awkward laugh with the other sets, with this set, you would be best advised to run through the cards first and ensure that you're not going to have a major issue started during the play.Again, a great way to work on intimacy with that someone special, but probably not a great set for general family conversation, and I simply would not play this with a typical gaming group. Um, no, no, definitely not.Just my view ...

Often, other sets like this are filled with boring, run of the mill questions. I was pleasantly surprised with the interesting and thought-provoking questions in this deck. I have used this at parties or with family / friends one on one. It’s a great way to get to know your loved ones a bit more and in a fun way!

Love this set of cards. I play it when I have friends over for dinner and it's a fun way to start conversation.

This company lacks vision and creativity. The 50% of the cards are mundane and boring. And with other decks overlap way too many questions. I think I bought 15 decks, and I am really disappointed. The price is way too high, the decks are heavy and the acrylic case will crack very easily. As a matter of fact 80% of the decks were already cracked when I received the products over two different orders.I think the cards are useful, but the price/performance ratio is not that great. The price should be reduced and the company should think outside of their box.

These questions are perfect for stimulating conversations that can get very deep. I am an inpatient therapist in behavioral medicine. My patient love when I pull out this box and a stress ball. We toss the stress ball around and whoever has the ball answers the question drawn from the box. It creates deep meaningful conversation about life without pressure. Due to the randomness of the questions it encourages people to share deep emotional memories and thoughts without the feelings of being confronted or coerced. A definite must have for a relaxing introductory get to know each other group. Would be ideal for summer camps and church functions.I am not sharing the actual questions from the box as this would be a violation of copyright laws. I assure you they do provoke deep conversation and are well formulated.
