Triumph Rubber Tank Pad Protector Tiger 800 A9798028

Quality material and comes with a cleaning packet for installation. Adhesive did not stick very well on the corners.

The pad is great, a perfect fit for my Triumph Tiger 800 as it was designed for. The issue I have is that it came with an alcohol cleaning cloth that I figured was for prepping the surface some there were no instructions that came with. I still had the warning stickers the bike came with on the tank so I thought perfect, I’ll peel the stickers and wipe down the residue and apply the pad. When I cleaned the spot where the pad would go, it made some scratches on the tank. Not the ideal way to clean and prep the tank.

I use the protector on my 2018 Triumph Tiger 800. it was easy to install and does protect the tank. The only negative is the black rubber type material is rubbing off on my tan Klim pants
