Another reason to love Whitney G
As most readers can probably agree having one favorite book or author is really hard to figure out. I have many book boyfriends and many authors that I will automatically read whatever is published by them. For me Whitney G is definitely one of them and probably if I had to choose she ties for favorite author number one. So with all that being said I of course will recommend all her booksReasonable Doubt: Full Series | Sincerely Carter Series | Turbulence series Naughty, Dirty, Cocky (Steamy Coffee Collection of 3 books) | Mid-Life Love: Full Seriesand last but not least The Layover. My favorite you ask? Well my first introduction to Whitney was Reasonable Doubt so I will always recommend that as a first. Then I'm tied with love with the Sincerely Carter series and the Steamy Coffee Read Collection! So you know, just read them all :P>So this WONDERFUL book is inspired by Adele's song "When We Were Young" and since I was obsessed with that song, I knew I would be obsessed with this book. I was wrong... I wasn't just obsessed with this book I was consumed. Until the very last page I was drawn in and could only live and breathe this book. It's that good.We have Grayson Connors; football legend of University of Pittsburgh. In his senior year and will be in the top 5 picks of the NFL draft. ESPN know's his name and so does everyone at the college campus. He is known not only for winning games and championships but also winning hearts and orgasms from females all over school. Except it's senior year and something big happened last summer that has changed everything. Even though he is already in honors and getting A's he is more focused on school, football and not so much girls. That is until he meets his new Literature tutor Charlotte Taylor.Charlotte is the definition of hardworking student. She also in honors is ready to finish the school year with great grades and hard working hours doing so. When a mix up happens where she is short some credits she is forced to tutor the cocky yet sexy football star Grayson. The last thing she wants is over confident Grayson wiggling his way into her heart. Not only was she sheltered growing up but she also does not have the experience Grayson would expect or want. So no matter how sexy he is, Charlotte will deny deny deny that Grayson does not make her heart flutter or her cheeks to blush. The first few chapters are the past - 7 years ago and we get to see how Grayson and Charlotte meet. Their tutoring sessions are rough and Charlotte is trying to get out of it anyway that she can. But then we get a glimpse of the present and things have not changed. Charlotte definitely doesn't want to see Grayson at this 7 year reunion. So of course I am DYING to know what happened between the two of them on a Tuesday. Always on a Tuesday. Heck the reunion is ON A TUESDAY!Throughout the book we go back and forth between 7 years ago and present. Not once was it confusing. Not once did I not enjoy the time lapse. The reason? Because Whitney G knows how to write a damn good book! Everything fit, there was not questions unanswered and the secrets and betrayal of why they stopped talking for 7 years was perfectly explained. Do I think that the characters were being dumb?! OF COURSE. I would of fought tooth and nail but they both lacked that at the time and both were still young. We get the HEA that I wasn't sure was going to happen. We get another PERFECT book written by Whitney G. This right here is why is one of my favorite authors!

Silly read
As I read this book I kept asking myself, is this a Whitney G book! I find myself to be a huge fan of hers but this was not one of my favorite books by her. Boring with a capital B. I liked the flashback moments to when you went back to the college days when Grayson and Charlotte first meet. I like the bantering between the two and how she wouldn’t barely give him the time of day. But they whole reason they split and broke up was kinda silly. Grayson’s “team” basically keeps them apart but come on. There was no way for Charlotte to get ahold of him! You couldn’t use social media, or get a hold of his family or friends that you supposedly know too. Just seemed a little to far fetched. I will read more of her books but I wouldn’t recommend this one.

I've got a few things to say....
Alright....this one.It was okay. Very antsy for the sake of angst, but it was cute. It dragged a bit and Charlotte was super annoying at times. She really thought her poo did not stink. I didn't hate her, but I wanted to slap her a few times.***Okay, now I rant***I did NOT like that there was a bit thrown in about Greyson being falsely accused of rape. It made no sense and was not pivotal to the story. So why did the author feel the need to add it??? False rape accusations are an anomaly. Not the norm. And there is a HUGE problem with college rape and sexual assault. ESPECIALLY with athletes. I'm not saying that false accusations don't happen, but I am saying that they are not the norm and bringing it up in a novel like this for no reason just sheds negative light on real victims coming forward. It really P'ed me off paired with some of the crap Greyson's friend Kyle kept saying. Especially when he was talking about Charlotte inviting guys to her room and not having sex with them. All of it just promotes rape culture. We need to start changing our view on how men DO act and start talking like the norm is how they SHOULD act. I could go on and on, but I wont.***End rant***

On a Tuesday
On a Tuesday is chock full of emotion, and I found myself completely immersed in Grayson and Charlotte's story. Grayson had more depth than I typically expect from "sports" heroes, and I liked Charlotte's demeanor and backbone. You could feel various emotions rolling off of them throughout, but you never doubt the love.Whitney G. is a favorite author of mine, but that is because I can trust that I will get a well formed story, with a sexy hero who isn't afraid to be dirty, and in the end I'm always left satisfied with my purchase. She is a one-click author for me. All that to say, typically I'm left fanning myself, but my surprise here was Grayson's sweetness, which is a bit different than her past few books which have landed more on the "melt you panties off" side of the scale. I was still satisfied, just surprised.Overall, it had its dirty moments, and its sweet moments, and my only issue was I wish we had more of them together in the end. I sort of felt like it ended a little soon, but the epilogue was sufficient, so I won't deduct any starts.

Sadface.
3.5 Stars. Why?Well, this book is written well and I love a good long lost love ... but 7 years? The love story of them falling in love is great. Tutor and jock - sucker for that s**t!! Love it.But it all falls apart. And super oddly. As a reader, I was like what did I MISS?!?The big reveal and secret .. I felt was not believable. At all.....----Spoiler.---I do not get where any Strong Alpha make that was NOT some little sheltered boy would allow a person to take over all of his life ... have control over his personal Phone?! Please. Would he really have HER hire a PI?!?! Nope.THEN! It is a poof. Done. No big revenge?!?! Come on! It was 7 yeas they missed.Boo.

Nice cover, shame about the NA angst-fest inside
This cliche-ridden NA/YA angst fest had me grinding my teeth at the sheer drippiness of the heroine and the way that the hero is supposed to be a nice guy but his BFF is the biggest douche on the planet.Grayson is pipped to be the number one draft pick for the NFL when he leaves college (and his douchey roommate is going to be second). He's the big man on campus, all the guys want to be him, or be his friend, and all the girls want to do him.Charlotte is a nerd and a virgin to boot. Grayson sees her once and is immediately smitten. He fabricates the need for a tutor for his women's studies essays and sweet-talks the college into assigning Charlotte. They meet every Tuesday at a coffee shop and Grayson tries hard to persuade Charlotte to date him, but she thinks all jocks are untrustworthy and as the biggest jock on campus Grayson is the biggest jerk of all.Seven years later Charlotte and Grayson meet up again at their school reunion, they haven't seen or spoken to each other since college. Grayson is now a star football player, voted MVP three times, but he never forgot his high school love and has spent the past seven years desperately searching for Charlotte. On the other hand Charlotte has spent the past seven years avoiding Grayson. Retold partly in the present day and partly in flashbacks we find out what happened to make Charlotte hate Grayson.TBH Charlotte appeared to have atrophied as an eighteen year old, she showed no maturity and her bizarre way of avoiding Grayson whilst still being in love with him (and not showing up after agreeing to meet him) was more like a twelve year old than a twenty something. Similarly, Grayson was just so boring, so bland, so Disney hero (apart from the sex, which once Charlotte got over being a virgin was raunchy, and continuous) that he was greige, greige, greige. If ever I needed a reminder that I am over NA/YA this was definitely it.

Recommended 5 star
This story of Charlotte and Grayson is heart wrenching one. They met on a Tuesday. Grayson is the destined to play football and he convinces Charlotte to tutor him. They fall in love, but the path is a rocky one. Just a Grayson is ready to be drafted into the major leagues, they loose contact. And for 7 years they live their own lives until they meet again at their school reunion. Grayson has never stopped thinking about Charlotte, trying to piece together to what went wrong.Slowly, finally seeing Charlotte for the first time in 7 years, the old feelings come back and they cannot avoid each other. Grayson is now a star NFL footballer and Charlotte a successful art gallery owner. The story switches from flashbacks to present day. Along the way, they discover why they lost their time together and Grayson ensures that they will be together.I really enjoyed this story. Whitney G knows how to get the lump in the throat moments weaved into her stories.A 5* read!

Easy read, feel good book
I liked Charlotte's personality and her attitude towards Greyson in that she didn't swoon over him and made him work hard. I thought Greyson was very romantic while being the alpha male... I even didn't mind the flashbacks....my main issue was the reason they broke up... For seven years. I can't see anyone, no matter how much they love each other, not moving on in seven years especially if you feel the other person let you down. It wasn't realistic. The culprit got away with everything. I didn't like his best friends attitude to women in general and especially towards Charlotte. Most guys wouldn't tolerate friends talking about their girlfriend like that. The rape allegation was irrelevant and is such an important topic that it needed addressing fully or not at all. Overall, it was an easy enjoyable read that I probably won't remember a few books later.

Definitely recommend
On a Tuesday is such a sweet yet heart wrenching story of Collette Taylor and Grayson Connors. It is the story of love heartbreak and deceit. Who can you trust in life When the people who are meant to protect you deceive you. From the beginning of this book I am rooting for the characters. They were so well written. However the secondary characters in the book especially Anna His agent who is a constant throughout the book, I feel could have had more of a back story. I can’t give too much away about the betrayal aspect because I would then give it all the way but I loved it.4* #bookstoblog

On a Tuesday by Whitney G.
When someone is as determined as the most popular quarter-back of his college, to get a beautiful girl to go out with him and comes up against some top opposition, which he was not use to. As most girls tend to throw themselves at him, he was definately up for the challenge to wear her down, which he does eventually. But being drafted into the big league games in New York tends to bring not so honest people out of the woodwork to work for their own agenda. The separation between Charlotte and Grayson, because of their jobs and his dishonest PA, Anna when she prevented them from communicating with each other, which did à lot of damage to their trust for one another. Especially as Charlotte found out she was pregnant with Grayson's baby which was stillborn and had to go through it on her own as Anna blocked all her calls to Grayson. But love finds à way to solve these problems ànd will not rest until it finds it's way to be reunited. Loved this well written story and as the saying goes, love will not be denied. Great read.
