Nintendo Pokemon Pikachu Virtual Pet, Yellow

I had this when I was 9 yrs old, so when I found it here I just had to have it again. The game itself doesn't revolve around the typical tamagotchi style giga pet we're use too. If you're not familiar with this, the idea is to walk ( or shake) the device. When doing so you'll hear the clicking sound that is adding up points in the top right of the screen. Those points eventually equal watts which are used to gamble for more watts. My specific device had a small sunburn on the screen corner, but not enough to affect game play.

I was refunded, so I'm not so sore, but product was defective when I bought, the 'back' as well as 'start' and 'select' buttons did not work at all, and other buttons were frequently unresponsive. Product arrived was the correct one, and visually in good condition.Again, everything was worked out, but just a fair warning to any potential buyer.

I really adore this thing. I used to have one back in the late 90's when it came out and then recenetly rediscovered it. I think it's excellent to encourage kids (and anyone who loves pokemon lol) to get out there and exercise and walk. I know it gets me moving!

Did not come in original packaging, but woks just fine. No damage at all to the plastic cover or screen, battery was at full life upon arrival. Very pleased, works like a charm!

My daughter loves that little guy! he gets happy when she feeds him, also works as a pedometer which is great creates an incentive for them walk around more since more points they get they can use them on the minigame or use it to feed the pokemon and make him big.

Exactly what I expected it to be and more, fast shipment, everything works smoothly couldn't have been more satisfied other than the packaging it came in, almost looked blood stained with food or something.

I love this thing, used it for years, I had to rebuy one after I lost it.
