Wonderful Needles
I couldn’t be happier with this set of 5.0mm FlexiFlips. I’ve purchased different sock sizes as well as bamboo FlexiFlips, but this is my 1st set over 3.0mm I love the fact that they have the turbo tip and blunt tip. My tip for using them for the sock heels is to knit the last row before you start your method is to use the blunt end so when you knit back, you have the turbo end for picking up stitches. It works great for the toe as well. I’ve recently been using the Turkish cast on and I love it. I will continue to purchase multiple sizes of FlexiFlips, I like them for making baby hats as well. Just anything with a small diameter. These are smooth (no snagging) and let you knit up quickly.

Knitting with one less needle.
I was in the middle of of making some mittens using double point needles. I had a light-bulb-moment...Flexiflips! I ordered them immediately and put my project on hold until I received the Flexiflips. I. LOVE. THEM! Knitting with one less needle is so much easier. Less stress on my hands and fingers. Also, I don't worry about dropping or sliding stitches off like on dpn. Great quality as well.

Love these for socks!
These are the best invention ever! I preferred double pointed needles for knitting socks and tried the magic loop and these are a perfect hybrid solution for efficiency and a great outcome on projects. I'll never go back!

Faster than DPNs for sock knitting
I got my first set of these needles yesterday afternoon. I immediately casted on for a sock and by late evening I was almost ready to start the heel. Here are my honest thoughts about these for sock knitting. I am an avid sock knitter, and I knit top-down only. I know my pattern in my head and I'm a fast DPN knitter. It took me about 5 rows of 64 sts to get comfortable with these needles. I find that I hold the back needle with the points between my thumb and forefinger on each hand. This is similar to what I do with DPNs, so that wasn't anything new for me. I do believe that I knitted faster using these needles. I wish there was a fourth needle however. I prefer to leave the instep stitches on one separate needle when I'm knitting the gusset decreases. If I start at the back of the heel and knit to the point where I need to decrease, I would have to have a marker there to remind me and then knit half of the instep and then go to the second needle and knit to a second marker where I do a SSK decrease and then knit to the back center of the heel where my round begins. This may not make sense to you, but it is so much easier to do the gusset decreases with all your sts on 3 needles instead of 2 needles. I will buy a second set of these needles to use for sock knitting. I also knit many chemo hats and I currently use DPNs for the decreases around the crown of the hat. I doubt that I will use these needles for that purpose. The needles are expensive; however, they are slick which is tricky with tiny sock yarn for the first 3-4 rows. After that, I don't have any problems with sts falling off the needles like some folks say. I think I will like these needles better when I get a second set to use so I'll have 4 needles when doing the gussets of my socks. I have many Addi needles and I love them. I do like the fact that there is a blunt end as well as a rocket point on the other end of these needles. That comes in handle when knitting tiny sock yarn. I do not have any trouble using DPNs, and because I don't have issues, these seem to be fine. I like to learn new things and try new tools, so if you're like me, buy a set of these and give them a try. If you hate DPNs, you may love these, but I'm here to tell you that you will still have a bit of a learning curve dealing with the points of the needle that you are not using. If you don't like fiddling with 40" cables using the magic loop or two-at-a-time socks, you will love these needles. I think most folks don't spend enough time trying something new. It takes a while to get comfortable with anything new, so give these a shot. I think you'll like them as much as I do.

They've become a necessity
It took me awhile to figure out where these fit in my knitting arsenal. I love DPNs. A lot. But starting toe up socks on them is fiddly. With these doing all of the cast ons for toe ups are super easy. Second benefit of these is they're portable. I started a toe up sock this morning on them and was comfortable taking the project with me even though I don't have enough stitches for the security of a 9" circular. There are stitches on two needles and I push the third through the knitting (think shawl pin). Stitches don't slide off and all the needles are neatly contained. I think expensive for what they are but, foolish knitter that I am, I would buy them again if I lost them.

Great for small projects
Knitting small projects in the round is super easy with these needles. Stitches are even unlike when using regular double points. these needles were recommended to me by a friend and I'll highly recommend them here. I am an advanced beginner knitter.

I love my flexi-flips - but they are an investment!
I have several different sizes of flexi-flips now - in my opinion, they're way better than straight double-pointed needles. They're so much easier to use, and projects seem to go so much faster when they're only divided between two needles instead of three. It seems a little silly that just one needle less seems to make such a difference, but to me it really does! These things are really expensive, though - which is why just the fact that I have several sets is the biggest endorsement of all! To me they're worth the cost, but now I feel like I have to knit a lot of tubes to justify their expense!
