LIPSTICK QUEEN Shade Shifting Lipstick

I LOVE this lipstick and cannot recommend it enough. I have Frog Prince which goes a warm, deep rose-pink on me but I wanted something a bit more summery, so decided to try Morning Sunshine and it’s a perfect light pretty pink with a hint of peach in it. Like Frog Prince this is very moisturising and leaves your lips soft and hydrated - I say this as someone who has only ever been able to use Vaseline as usual lipsticks leave me with dry and unsightly lips - this is the only brand on lipstick I can and will ever wear now. To counter the negative reviews, this along with Frog Prince is clearly described as a colour that develops as a balm, so if you’re looking for a ‘true’ lipstick, this is not for you. You should put it on and wait a few minutes and see how the colour develops on you, and if you want to intensify the colour add another layer and see what it looks like in a few minutes. Like I’ve said this is super hydrating and flattering (my skin tone ranges from pale to lightly tanned depending on time of year) and the colour is subtle whilst still being obvious you have a lipstick on.

I have loved this lipstick ever since I got it on a trip a few years ago. Transparent, little bit like a lip balm. It is more expensive than other lipsticks though it's worth it as it doesn't disappear, it sort of stains so try to be precise when putting it on. It makes my lips turn a stronger pink colour, which I think suits my pale skin really well, though it reacts differently depending on who wears it. My mother tried it and it made her lips turn slightly more copper, which looked nice on her too! It is the smallest one I own, 6cm or 2inches tall roughly, so make sure it doesn't fall out of your bag!

Absolutely love this product. The first time I purchased it was via duty free on holiday as a little treat for myself, but once I tried it I was hooked. It’s definitely lush and moisturises your lips - have also tried Eyebrow Queen which is very good for setting eyebrow makeup. I have not been able to find Lip Queen in the shops, I understand it’s an Australian product and still needs to make a big impact onto the UK market. £20 seems to be the normal price when there are stocks available, otherwise I have seen it for about £40. To be honest when I had run out I was very tempted to pay the £40 for it, but found it hard to justify - but waited another 6 weeks and was able to find it for £20 again. If you buy it I hope you enjoy it’s much as I have :-)

I'm a real fan of Lipstick Queen lipsticks. Colours are vibrant and stays that way, there's no stickiness and doesn't have that awful taste sometimes found with lipsticks. It's long lasting colour and the surprise of it looking one colour that then becomes a different colour when you wear it is great.

It arrived , packaging was all good but when I open the lipstick lid both lipsticks were stuck to the top of the lid and not in the actual base of the lipstick, I had to reapply it back to the base of the lipstick but as you can see from the picture , damage was done already from the offset. Now as a make up artist myself, I notice the lipstick has pass its expiry date in the sense that it has a waxy smell and when applied to the lips has a certain unpleasant waxy taste that comes with lipsticks that are old essentially and no longer useful . Its very unfortunate.

Lipstick queen products are a guarantee. You know that you will get a great product that will feel good on you, will keep you moisturized, the color will be also long lasting, subtle but there. This particular one is flattering on my face, it’s not too bold, it gives a healthy color on the lips and it can be worn every day, no matter the occasion.

I wasn’t too happy with this. I think it was a little old, it smells odd. I thought I was buying another colour but that’s my fault. I’m sorry Lipstick queen doesn’t exist any more. I loved the Hello Sailor and Frog Prince. Have not found a suitable substitute for those!

Although a vivid violet in the tube, it turns into a pink berry shade when actually putting it on your lips. It's a flattering transformation from purple to something lighter in color, and I wear it often. You don't need a thick layer to get the color on- just a quick few swipes. And while comes off within the first few hours on the straws of my drinks, the moisture eventually sinks into my lips, leaving behind what would appear to be almost a lip stain effect (while still being easy to remove later on).

I am so in love with this lipstick. It applies really well and had good longevity for a lipstick without a special made-to-outlast-the-apocalypse formula. I also rarely find a lipstick that doesn't dry out my lips. This is absolutely perfect for anybody with cool or dull tones who wants a brighter look. I have dark, ashy brown hair with a lot of grey, a dull complexion with ashy/blue undertones, and blue eyes, so it's easy to look washed out. This raspberry color is a great complement for blue tones without looking clownish. I prefer to draw attention to my eyes more than my mouth, and on me, this is a little too bright to compete with intense eye makep, but it's a great complement for a neutral or a less bright shade in the same color pallete (pink, blue). I love it so much, I bought 3 more for friends and family who fear lipstick and have similar coloring to me. It's been hard to find a good lip liner, so I use Rimmel's transparent liner to prevent feathering.

Quel joie d'enfin avoir accès à cette marque de cosmétique !!! Le rouge à lèvre est superbe, lorsqu'on l'ouvre il est de couleur verte pas de panique ce ne sera pas l'aspect définitif !!! En effet ce rouge à lèvre va s'adapter à votre carnation et révéler la couleur qui est pour vous la plus pertinente, celle qui vous ira le mieux :) En fonction des personnes on ne retrouvera pas le même résultat, sur certaines il sera rose clair, d'autres rose foncé et ainsi de suite... Il est très agréable à mettre, on sent ses lèvres tout de suite hydratées il tient un bon moment, même si après manger il faut en remettre un petit peu comme pour tout les autres rouges. Le plus du rouge à lèvre il ne marque pas si vous embrassez quelqu'un la marque est tout à fait incolore !!! Un vrai bonheur ce rouge à lèvre je peux même l'appliquer sans miroir :)

I love Lipstick Queen and was so excited to try this lipstick, but when I opened the box I noticed the top was chipped and there is texture/pattern on the surface that looks like it’s been used. Very disappointing. The box didn’t have a plastic cover, and when I put it back in the box I noticed it has been opened and closed a few times. I’m going to return it, but I hope it doesn’t get sold to someone else.

Para los labios claro. Es súper 👍, el color es bonito y natural. También cambia dependiendo del color del perfilador. Me gusta 👍
