I must say when I bought mine 8 years ago I only paid £399. Anyway the sound quality of these speakers are very good, for pop,rock, jazz, and classical, and lve had mine for a few years now, and lm very pleased with the sound performance of the speakers, although they could do with a bit more bass.These speakers are finished in a black high gloss finish, but you can also get these speakers in a cherry satin finish, they are anti-scratch proof, and has a magnetic grille, with 2 woofers and 1 twitter, speaker output is around about 175 watts per channel, which is more than adequate in most rooms. 5 Stars are in the offering!
