This is such a cute umbrella and is perfect for my 3 year old. The quality is really nice and I love the handle which is perfect for small hands. What I love most is how easy it is to open and close so she can do it herself. Highly recommend for little ones

My grandson loves having his own.

I bought this umbrella for my four years old son alongside with a similar model for my two years old daughter. They actually chose the models themselves, I basically followed their choices and ordered without thinking much. Both arrived on the same day and I had a chance to evaluate them at the same time.They look both great and are even bigger than I was expecting. I am sure they would offer great protection for kids until they are around 10. The colors are vibrant and there are no spiky parts that would cause danger for the kids as long as the protective plastic covers at the end of wires stay on. The upright parts like tiger's ear for my model are also supported with an inner wire so they stay upright as they are supposed to. The operation of the umbrella is by sliding the knob, not by releasing a trigger which would be hard to press and could be dangerous for the kid since it opens much faster so that is another good thing...Basically, I have found no noticeable difference in quality and the size of both models however this one, somehow is 60% more expensive compared to the other one ($16 vs $10 as of january 2015) It was not a big deal since my son wanted this a lot however I still can not justify the difference that is why I am rating this otherwise great product with 4 stars instead of 5.

Such a cute umbrella for little kids! This does not hurt little fingers going up or down it holds up really well colors really fine I really recommend this one we had on Melissa & Doug before and my son's fingers for always get pinched this is amazing where it doesn't pinch his fingers.

Perfect for a toddler, my 3.5 son loves it. He can easily open and close it. It’s bigger than I expected, but still good!

My kid loves it! It’s built well and the design is easy on the eyes. Easy enough to open that my 2.5 year old can easily do it.
