The purpose of this lock was to prevent me from having to twist the doorknob with my tennis elbow symptom. This lever is everything as far as being heavy-duty and sturdy. The only reason it is not a five-star rating is that the mechanics for locking the handle is opposite to what I am accustomed; I am used to turning the latch to the right to unlock and towards the opening to lock. This lock operates differently so it will take time to get used to this different direction.
