We ended up purchasing a regular craft table 2'3" in height x 2'8" in width.For longer items such as curtains and sheets we use a standard ironing board. Comfort is key if you are constantly pressing items. No matter what you choose for comfort you will enjoy the steam press. It works great. **Q: A complete suit gets wrinkled much earlier than it needs getting dry cleaned, that's why I was trying to see if it's worth the investment?** A: Paul, I've never tried to press a complete suit, but there are places that seem to wrinkle first like the lower back of the coat and the crotch area of the pants. The press works real well on this areas. I do the same thing with shirts --both the shirt tail and the area around the waist wrinkles before the collar indicates that the shirt needs to be cleaned -- a quick application of the press restores the pressed look. **Q: How long does it take to heat up and be ready for pressing?** A: In heats up within a few minutes/nearly seconds at the most - just make sure you have your water in it if you desire steam, lift the lid and walk away (if you want to) for a few seconds. The lights on the top will let you know when it is ready; plus it will also give off a sound like a steam engine (not loud just letting you know when ready for steaming when you press the buttons). Not sure if I have the exact model that is shown here but I do love mine. I use it for sewing projects, jeans and most clothing when I have a huge bundle.
