Review: Amazing Light - This is my new go-to light solution. I reach for this light, first. First off, it is bright! Able to make any dimly lit project a thing of the past. Second, it is sized nicely. Not overwhelmingly large or heavy. The rechargeable 12v batteries are light and last a long time. It fits into many small areas, where my other lights can’t. The light has a very strong magnet. Great for positively attaching to a steel surface. There is a lanyard like clip, making it great for attaching to your clothes or a backpack. The built in stand is dependable. There is also threaded hole that will fit most camera tripods. The light pivots through over 180 degrees of arc. I was kind of iffy about buying this light since I already have other lights. But was I wrong. For the vast majority of my projects, this is all the light I need. I brought it to work and used it to light up the inside of a couple of server tracks that I was building out. Just amazing. Even in a brightly lit room, I didn’t realize just how dark it was inside those racks until I used this. It is so much easier to attach the slides to the rack because the screw holes are so much easier to see. This is a two-thumbs, waaay up recommendation. No question: I’d buy it again in a heart beat. The pivoting magnetic base with built in carabiner is made of solid aluminum and feels Very solid, it is attached to the light itself very securely. The Bases tension is adjustable using the screw on the side. As you pivot the Bosch fl12 on it’s base it is locked into place every few degrees with a detent mechanism which keeps the light from losing its position due to the weight of the light (no it’s not a heavy light). The light lense is framed in aluminum but the body appears to be a type of composite maybe even a poly-carbonite (high quality, durable type of plastic) or Reinforced Plastic. There is no mention of it’s resistance to water of fluids, however the Bosch fl12 LED work light does appear to be sealed up really well and I believe that it should survive a drop or 2 into a bucket of whatever fluid you are unfortunate enough to drop it in. The power button is a simple on/off type button however if you hold the button down it will switch the work light to it’s low setting. This low setting is not retained when you turn the light off. you will have to switch it to low every time you turn the Bosch fl12 work lighton. This is a well made light and a Good value at only $48.99 w/out battery on desertcart. One thing i should note is that the low output setting on this light puts out plenty of light for most situations, i sometimes have trouble distinguishing which power level I am using. I don’t know if this will happen but the carabiner has the potential to become bent if you drop the light in just the right way. This is my new go-to light solution. I reach for this light, first. First off, it is bright! Able to make any dimly lit project a thing of the past. Second, it is sized nicely. Not overwhelmingly large or heavy. The rechargeable 12v batteries are light and last a long time. It fits into many small areas, where my other lights can’t. The light has a very strong magnet. Great for positively attaching to a steel surface. There is a lanyard like clip, making it great for attaching to your clothes or a backpack. The built in stand is dependable. There is also threaded hole that will fit most camera tripods. The light pivots through over 180 degrees of arc. I was kind of iffy about buying this light since I already have other lights. But was I wrong. For the vast majority of my projects, this is all the light I need. I brought it to work and used it to light up the inside of a couple of server tracks that I was building out. Just amazing. Even in a brightly lit room, I didn’t realize just how dark it was inside those racks until I used this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best darn light I've ever owned! Ever!

As an Journeyman electrician for 21 years I can say that this is the most well thought out and handy little work light I've ever owned. I liked it so much I bought two. Electricians are usually doing most of their work in the dark, because there just isn't any lighting on a job until you put it there. So light for me is an essential and important part of my job when there is none. I've had countless people tell me how impressive these lights are, and I can further attest that these last a long time battery wise, several hours 3/4 hours run time is normal. Another thing I really like about them is that they are so positional! The pivotal magnetic base on these is frankly a godsend because you can always get the light right where you need it without the light being in your darn way; as is usually the case. And that to me is absolutely invaluable when doing my job. The hold magnet on these gems are really strong, and these lights are the TOUGHEST Lights Ive ever come across! I've had one knocked off of an I Beam from 22 ft above a concrete floor. (its the one with the base basically completely gone in the pictures) When it hit the floor the snap-link type positional base broke off (because it is a die cast aluminum and bound to happen from that height) and the battery and the light separated. Picked up the light, slapped back in the battery and it came back on like it never happened. I've never had a light survive what these lights have survived again and again and again. I really hope they never change these lights. You know the deal, that good old "fix it till it breaks syndrome" when you find something that works so well and then the manufacturer screws it up trying to make it better and it ends up making it worse. Bottom line here folks is if you are in a trade and need to use a good dependable and tough light, I can't say enough about this light. Its unequaled in every way to any other light (and I've gone through dozens in my time in the trade)
