I am a singer with very powerful vocals, so finding a good quality microphone has been a long tedious journey that I just could not afford to play "hit or miss" with. There was a lot of research involved with the selection process. When I came across the sE Electronics Studio Bundle, I thought, "Wow! What an awesome deal!". I paid almost 100 bucks for my Blue Snowball microphone and you mean to tell me I get all this for under $200?? Okay...back to researching! I've read countless reviews on other websites, like Amazon, and still wasn't sold. UNTIL...I searched each item contained in the bundle on YT for video reviews that demonstrated the capabilities of the X1 and RF (higly recommended) and let me just say, WOW. I was definitely impressed. Being that the studio bundle wasn't the only thing on my list, I had to make a decision on who to buy from. I gathered my totals from each website and compared them to Amazon. Amazon was actually significantly cheaper!Since all of the items weren't sold by the same seller, I knew receiving my entire order on the same day obviously wasn't a guarantee but it was well worth it seeing as I was saving a couple hundred bucks!I ordered the  Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2 In/2 Out USB Recording Audio Interface  after researching reviews on preamps, and I also ordered a tripod microphone stand.The X1 sounds amazing! I can hear every note I sing...every word crystal clear. It handles my voice like a pro. I don't have to hold back the emotion in my voice out of fear it will come across distorted, or that my lows will be inaudible. It can definitely hold it's own with higher priced competitors if paired with the right preamp!About the RF-X Vocal Booth:Well, I am not sure if I got a box with missing pieces or if that is actually how it comes, but there was no way to mount the RF to the microphone stand. It appears that either the mounting hardware was missing or was not included in this bundle. Hmmm...back to researching again -Lol.I saw this product on several different websites and they all had mounting hardware. Not sure why mine didn't, but the reviews I read said they had a hard time keeping the mic stand from tipping over due to weight of the RF, and many complained of damaging their condensor mics because of this (Ouch $$). At this point, I figured I'd find another way to mount it...one that doesn't make my mic want to commit suicide!I took a gamble and ordered the  AKG KM216 Thread Adapter 3/8" Male, 5/8" Female, Chrome  from Amazon. When it arrived, I screwed it onto my mic stand and mounted the RF with no problem. It has been stable and secure since I mounted it! Besides mounting issues, the RF does exactly what it claims to do and is a great investment. I would highly recommend this bundle to anyone wanting a quality sound on a budget. I bought this mic for my studio .. however i used it for about a week and then i went on vacation .. and back to school so it was covered up like new untouchable no dust dirt, I mean flawlessly covered during that time, however when I finally decided to use it..you guessed it .. it was dead.. luckaly i had a pv i100 mic and I plugged that bad boy up and and it was fine. After a few more repeats I made sure I came to a conclusion that it was the mic .. I am currently going through exchange with se electronics.PROS: However I like the quality its ok for a home studio. nice warranty and cable quality. nice packagingPERSONAL CONS: Personally I don't like the fact that the switches on the microphone have no instruction to what they are or how to be used for someone coming into the music scene.CONS:The sound proof barrier does little to help you sound better if you have a window open :O It apparently can die if you don't use it. He says "This thing is dope, Dad!" which I think means he likes it. Actually, the audio quality is much better this previous mic and, if you can't have a soundproof studio, the shield does seem to make a difference. Keeping it out of 5 stars: ours came without a manual and there are a few parts to assemble and different ways to do so. We got there eventually.
