Review: Amazing case! - I have always loved pelican cases. This one lives up to my expectations. I've been looking for a new storage/transport case and this one is amazing. I bought the desertcart return/cosmetic blemish resale (for a steal) of this case. Despite it arriving in a damaged box, the case itself was dusty but had absolutely nothing wrong with it. There was a tiny plastic flap like mark (either a kinda scuff mark from being drug across something abrasive really fast or overmold tag from the molding process) on the wheel support. However, it could have been just a blemish from the factory because I used an x-act-o knife and took it off. There's no obvious blemish anymore. This case holds a massive amount of gear and parts from my collection. If you mix, match, and stagger your gear in between the layers of foam, you can store so much. The heavy duty plastic exterior is definitely top quality. The latches work smooth as butter. The wheels are smooth in motion even under heavy weight. The handles feel strong and even fully loaded, haven't hardly flexed let alone buckled/broken. I lost my balance and dropped it when it was full, not so much as a scuff on the case. My only complaint is that you have to use separate locks to secure the case. It doesn't have key locking latches.

**Q: How many rifles can fit**
A: I found that it could fit probably 5 or 6 rifles.  The best way to fit as many as possible it have a piece of foam on the bottom and have another piece on the top with the rifles in the middle.  Hope this answers your question.

**Q: What type of foam, pick and pluck or kaizen?**
A: Ordered it with the pick and pluck.  Pelican direct has options.

**Q: can this fit two Colt M4s with Eotechs?**
A: All day. I haven't seen your setups but M4's are pretty short. I don't think I've seen one over about 35" and the ID of this case is over 40". As long as they aren't all Ruben Goldberg you should be able to get them in there just fine.

**Q: Can you put an AR style rifle upright in this case? Can you do so with optics (like an ACOG) attached?**
A: The inside dimensions are right about 40x12x12 (inches). The yes you are looking for depends on your configuration. If your setup profiles are discrete you might fit 4 across. If you absolutely can't get it done without the rail mounted proverbial kitchen sink, this case is not for you. I hope it works for you. It's an awesome case. It's the only case I trust for my antique, Victorian parasol collection!

I have always loved pelican cases. This one lives up to my expectations. I've been looking for a new storage/transport case and this one is amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best case for 3-4 rifles

Awesome case, typical pelican quality! Fits 3-4 rifles plus extras with ease. Only negative is the precut foam. I was able to "cut" it for my setup but it's still not ideal. Basically, once the foam is cut it starts to want to flop around and not hold shape unless I have it full of rifles to help hold the foam in place. I have since ordered a custom cut foam insert that will really take this case to the next level. I'd recommend getting the one with no foam and finding your own custom cut foam for your application. I got my custom cut foam from Gunformz.
