Q: Can i burn a small yankee candle in this without the porcelain cracking

Hi, You could burn a small Yankee candle inside one of these tealight candle holders. My only caution would be that you must ensure any flame is directly under the vent hole in the top. Experimenting with these things, we found that any "mis-alignment" could cause smoke stains, or even soot to stain the inside of the Nordic light. It is then a bit of a chore cleaning the stain off the relatively delicate body of the item. We now use a short string of battery powered LED lights inside our Nordic light. The light lasts for days (even if you forget to switch the LEDs off during the day) and you can get interesting visual effects with coloured LEDs. I hope this helps. Best regards C.
