Review: Nice varied colour set with instructions and video support - Nice/ set, large selection of colours and shades. Comes with instructions, practic pad and signposting to online lessons which I advise people watch. Comes in a good quality case with zip. Advice: you really do need to watch tutorials about how to use effectively. Don’t treat them like marker pens . I treat mine like watercolours contained in a pen , so I put some of that colour down on a palette then add water . I prefer to use a brush to apply , but that’s just me.
Review: 10/10 - These pens are literally what they say they are: easy to use, very flexible tips,a massive variety of colours and it does include a booklet of drawings to practice on and 4 waterbrush pens with long barrels with a variety of tips in different sizes and shapes. These pens are numbered and labelled on the side and the end of the barrel has the colour of the ink to make things more convenient. The ink is very vibrant and easy to break down with water, they blend well and if used with the right paper (Canson XL is a good option) the outcomes are astonishing, when you use the ink without water the edges can be a little rough in texture but when water is added it becomes really smooth . Some colours come out a little too light but depending on your preference you might find it just fine. For 54 pens and a booklet for this amount of money is awesome and is extremely worth it. Please keep in mind that when trying to refill the waterbrushes you must twist the tops the opposite way of what you would normally do (left= tighten right = loosen). Definitely would recommend.

A: The pens are easy to use and produce excellent colouring for both fine lines and block work. They blend nicely and are worth every penny.

**Q: Can you buy individual replacement pens**
A: I don't think you can buy individual pens,so you would have to purchase the full set.

**Q: What is the best way to store these?**
A: I store mine tip down, it makes choosing the colour easier. I’ve had no issues with this way of storing them

**Q: Will this set be back in stock? I have the 30 set but would love to buy this larger set. Fhanks**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cannot think of a reason not to buy, super pens!

As a first time user of watercolour pens, I was very pleased with firstly the quality of the pens, then secondly, just how easy they are to use and create some wonderful effects! I started with the tutorial pad that was included in the 54 pen set, and after watching the videos on You Tube, I was painting along Bob Ross style, and was very pleased with the outcome. Yes, they will take some practise to get the best out of them, but for a beginner like me, it was certainly encouraging. The 54 pen set has a plethora of colours, including some lovely muted tones. You can achieve some very fine detail with the pens, the paint flows nicely from them no matter how thin or thick. The 4 brushes that are included work very well too, a simple idea of holding water in the brush rather than dipping into a water bowl. I had a couple of questions and contacted Chromatek direct, their response was quick, as well as very friendly and encouraging, great customer service indeed! If you are thinking of treating yourself to some watercolour pens, then stop thinking and get these! You’ll be amazed at how creative they make you feel!
