These are not that much more expensive and after all is said and done you end up spending less because you're buying fewer spray bottles. On average, the plastic bottles at the store are about $2.50 if you want a half way decent one and the trigger will give out quickly. These will last way longer. In fact, I've yet to have one wear out. I bought some about a year and a half ago and they are still going strong. If you drop them on a tile floor they will not break. I dropped one on the ceramic bathroom floor and it did break but I would have been shocked if it didn't.
