Pay special attention to the size, 11x17 is a "B size" piece of paper which is equivalent to 2 normal sheets of paper sitting next to eachother in Portrait orientation. This works well on my desk and fits my needs perfectly, but it might not be great for you. Would have no issue buying this again in the future if I have to. Review: Even better than earlier versions. - There is now stitching around the edges of these mats, addressing two key issues with former versions; rough edges when new and then peeling from the edges.
