Compact potentially life-saving kit
Great piece of kit if your latest mountain jacket/equipment doesn’t have Recco built in. There are countless examples now of where these have saved lives in avalanche conditions. Essential piece of equipment, especially if you venture off-piste. Don’t rely on a single reflector within a group - precise location is essential.

These transposed are tiny and easy to attack to bags, coats etc. For peace of mind skiing. I'll admit I've never tested one, thankfully, but worth having.

Recco reflector
this is a simple light iterm that could save your life as it makes it much easer for rescue teams to find you.it just fits around your carry handle or ring on the top of your pack, no need to regiter just make sure the person how know where you, knows you have a RECCO reflector.
