Review: Educational - This book was required for a college class. I wanted to purchase it, but did not want to spend the money, so i rented it from desertcart instead. I even thought about buying it after the class for the remainder of the price. Decided not to, then desertcart sent it back to me saying I damaged the cover, and charged me for it, lol, for better or worse. I imagine there are cheaper books out there, but the tables were useful, as were the examples in it.

The examples and explanations in this book helped with thermodynamics. Would recommend this book and a hilarious professor when learning thermo.

This book was required for a college class. I wanted to purchase it, but did not want to spend the money, so i rented it from Amazon instead. I even thought about buying it after the class for the remainder of the price. Decided not to, then Amazon sent it back to me saying I damaged the cover, and charged me for it, lol, for better or worse. I imagine there are cheaper books out there, but the tables were useful, as were the examples in it.

Having seen various textbooks across various disciplines, this may be one of the best. Really anything by Yunus Cengel is good. Explanations are clear. Examples are thorough and aren't overly simplified like other text books. Practical applications to topics are worked into each chapter. I would definitely recommend this book to any one taking a thermo course.
