Riega White Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix, 1 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I got this at the local gluten free, paleo store. I was glad to find something that let me pick the noodles I wanted other than Annie's or Trader Joes gluten free box, as I felt there weren't enough noodles in those and sometimes I like corn pasta v.s. rice. That way I can eat safely and my daughter can have her mac n cheese. I liked it and would eat it again. It was definitely comparable to Annie's white cheddar gluten free shells. Trader Joes uses the yellow cheese but also comparable in taste quality with that as well. I did find this to be a wee bit salty. I read after making it, the instructions that said do not cook your noodles in salted water. I did. So I will have to try it again and see if that is what caused that to happen. My daughter didn't seem to eat it so fast, I think it was the salt taste factor, even though she said she liked it. I came on to see what other flavors this brand carried, and will have to try the rest of them. I am not sure I would buy the alfredo flavor since there are a few jarred ones that are gluten free like Bertolli and Newmann's (even Newmann's Vodka sauce is gluten free)([...] But I am interested in the pepper jack and yellow cheddar ones next as a try!

Yes! mac n cheese with my shiritaki macaroni that's gluten free too! AS someone who still craves the mac and cheese I got in the box as a kid, this is pretty close. I thought the salt level was about right - you can always add cheese or whatever you want to it. Appreciate that the product is available.
