Equipment and value for what I bought is great. Tested on largest pipe threads to have no problems with operation and battery life.

Worth the the price, I’m impressed with this tool

This thing works amazing. It definitely cuts the pipe and makes it for threads. The only thing you have to remember is this doesn’t make small pieces or nipples. You’ll have to get those ordered or buy them like that, but it works really well.

I’m a electrician and use straight threads. If I want to thread gas pipe I don’t know think I can change it to tapered. I can’t find any information on if or how I can make it tapered.

First job was 60 feet of 1 1/4" and 40 feet of 1/2" on one battery. Took a second to get use to the clamp they have but after that easy-to-use. Portable and powerfull for a cordless tool. Haven't used my corded machine since.

The pipe clamp which is suppose to hold the pipe still as you thread, doesn't lock down tight enough and spins when threading. The bar at 90 degrees to the clamp that is suppose to catch the torque of the threader, bent at the point of insert, and almost fell out during first use. I barely got the 1-1/2" pipe threaded, and have never used the threader since. In my opinion, they place too much emphasis on "speed" of threading, and not enough on actual torque of the dies. You can't keep enough oil on the threading operation because the speed is way too fast rpm. I don't have three hands, and without someone who operates a seperate oiler the pipe starts to smoke. I will check all the dies for adjustment, but I used it as was from factory. I had poor results so am not thrilled at all with the 60v cordless threader.

This Deadly toll is an amazing piece of art. normally a pipe footer has to bring sling an extension cord for a handheld threader…not anymore! this thing has unbelievable torque, ergonomic designs, powerful batteries, unique add-ons and hefty carrying cases.
