Does what it says...
After a few years of expansion/contraction cycles the plastic door handle on Kenmore/Electrolux ovens loosen. You can re-tighten them, but it's just a matter of time before the poorly designed handle yields and the cut threads in the plastic standoffs fail. You would think that it would be a simple matter of replacing the handle (which is horribly overpriced) But you would be wrong. Typically the Philips head in the two retaining screws is stripped out, and you can no longer tighten them after having done so previously half a dozen times in the past due to the slow failure of the poorly designed handle. This is poor design, whether intentional or deliberate. (Think planned obsolescence) I understand building to a price point, but would it really have been that much more expensive to put a steel insert in the handle and use machine thread fasteners? Perhaps a few cents more and the door would never fail.Or for that matter, if you still want/need to hit us every 4 or 5 years for $50 for a new handle, at least use a hex instead of a Phillips head on the fastener, so it doesn't add $15 to the already high cost for $1 worth of plastic that makes the handle. That being said, a new pair of screws holds a new handle on firmly, and if you never use the oven, it will be good forever.

Not Universal for Models they Claim
This bolt was supposed to be universal and fit my model of stove. I had my original appliance book so I knew what I was ordering. It did not fit in fact a lot too large.
