I purchased the 28" Stanley Fatmax version, which also had the waterproof seal, back then for my general purpose home tool box and it's still as good as new. After moving into the new 50 yo home, I had all facets of new tools that I needed to purchase for modernization during improvement projects, including electrical and plumbing tools, drywall tools, and tile tools. I wanted smaller, task-oriented tool boxes that are ready to use to cut down on all the back-and-forth trips for forgotten tools from the garage, and these Dewalt version tool boxes are perfect sized just for that. I had checked prices and availability at the local Lowes', which supposedly had them, but instead had the Craftsman version at the same pricing Amazon has set for the Dewalt version. The Dewalt version was $35 in store, but they of course didn't have them out on the floor and I didn't want to deal with Lowes' subpar customer service associates that disappear when you actually need help, so I bought them from Amazon instead and saved a couple bucks.
