If your looking to both protect from impacts and keep the functionality of your fingerprint reader then this is what you need. As this protector requires a special uv sensitive glue to apply it may not be for everyone as it requires some patience, but it is definitely worth it. Compared the the dome protectors on the market this is the cheapest option, the difference is you don't get a guidance frame. Quality wise pretty much the same as dome. Only downsides to this one that the sticker covers for protecting your speakers and ports etc from the glue aren't great they're not even big enough to cover the speakers. The lead for the uv light is too short but a small gripe and the glue that is supplied is just the right amount to the point that if you dont squeeze all of it out during application you will find that it won't cover all the screen and doesn't leave much margin for error. If you do buy this protector here are some tips -1. Use normal tape to cover the speakers and ports. (Ones in box are not great)2. Test fit the protector first before applying anything and use the guidance stickers so you don't wobble about trying to place it when glue is on the phone. Place them on the bottom creating a hinge and with then tab on the inside and pointing the the top. When you squeeze all the glue out into the middle of the phone you can carefully pinch the sides of the glass whilst easing off the tab from the top, then slowly lower down till the surface tension of the glue touches the glass and then just keep slowly lowering and observing the glue spreading evenly, if you notice it moving to one side more than the other you can hold the glass and shift phone slightly. The glue will mostly cover the whole phone itself but this will just give you more control.3. MAKE SURE YOUR SURFACE IS LEVEL, otherwise the glue will just run off the sides.4. Make sure you remove Samsung pre applied protector otherwise your fingerprint definitely won't work if you slap this on top.5. Before you expose the glue to the uv light and your happy the glue has filled the surface gaps between glue and glass fully, wipe up any seeping glue as this will just set with the uv light and if you try to take off after it will shift the glue under the glass and create bubbles on the edges of the phone.6. Make sure the top speaker is fully covered as with the s20 the slit for this speaker is very small and you can't use too much surface to cover it up as the protector won't fit. I'd advise some stronger tape such as masking tape or duct tape to make sure something adheres to the small surface you require. If some glue does get in, before you UV blow out the glue and cut small rectangular out of the paper used for the guidance stickers and slot that into the speaker and try and soak up the rest, you will have to do this a few times to get the rest out the speaker slit.Sounds very technical and confusing but its actually quite easy, as a last tip watch a YouTube video how to apply these protectors this will give more of an visual aid on how things should look.The best and only option to protect from drops and have a functional fingerprint with no random holes in the middle or obvious dot matrix patterns over the screen. 👍👍

Cleaned screen, added the glue to the centre removed the film from the protector and placed it onto my screen to be left with a circle of glue stuck to the centre of the screen! The cover didn't even stick absolutely furious as now have a glue mark on my new phones screen!! How can someone sell something that damages your new device!!!!!!

I tried to be carful with the glue but it must have got into my speaker still as I can no longer hear well when using the phone.I have tried yo re do my fingerprint but it no longer works through the screen. Not happy about this!I dropped my phone inside and small amount of damage done to corner of protective screen but my phone screen seems to be fine.

Feels pretty nice to the touch, and the touch screen works great, however, I followed the steps for the installation, had a perfect installation, no bubbles or anything of the sort, the fingerprint scanner on the phone now takes a couple of goes to work and is much much slower, so wouldn't recommend this one for its finger print scanner compatibility

there is little glue and there are bubbles

Use all the glue and follow the instructions there will be no problems

Try to fool customers send a product other than what the pictures show a much lower quality and without reading the fingerprint
