Everything is crammed together and the plot lurches forward at a break back speed. It’s not bad, by any means, in fact, it’s quite interesting - but it’s too quick. The relationships, all four of them, develop with no build, the secrets are revealed with little pomp and the methods are thrust into the spotlight with no flair. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good idea, just should have been stretched out a bit more for details sake and character connection. At this point, I feel nothing for any of them. I was told a story, but I didn’t feel like I was part of it. PNR, RH, dystopian. 1st person, single POV, MMMMF, Fast burn.
